OK....I'm gonna do this! My OEM passenger tail has a 5-inch crack along the top edge. I was perplexed how water got in, until I found the hairline crack.

So, all existing plugs will be compatible?

Anyone know if these led taillight options listed for the 955s are compatible with the 957 models that came with led tails if I wanted a slightly more modern look?

They are not. The 955 and 957 have a slightly different tail light shape.

Default Status update?

So 5 1/2 years out from the start of this thread, how are your aftermarket replacement lights holding up?

I'm looking to order some aftermarkets for my '06 CS. I'm leaning towards the Dream ConceptZ lights after weighing the appearance of the lights in their picture against the feedback from buyers on eBay (for those lights < $300).

I was first looking at getting the Ipex lights based on everyone's comments here but the tone of their responses to eBay buyers with problems was a little unsettling.

Any other comments to help me confirm/change my decision?

TIA

Default Update

Quick update, led tail lights installed 1 year ago look & function great. Wish I had installed them sooner. No issues, no fading, no discoloration.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm glad you responded about the SPPC lights. I had considered those lights because I prefer to buy from Amazon but in their pictures the lights just don't look very bright, especially compared to the competition's lights.

Are they brighter than they appear in their pictures? (specifically, as compared to these, http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-06-Porsch...0&vxp=mtr#rwid)

2 different Cayenne's each with zero failures over 9 years. Better than OEM, affordable and reliable.

Regarding SPPC tail light brightness, they are brighter than in the ebay picture, and the original OEM lights. In my opinion, they are bright enough during the day, and perfectly bright at night.

The back up light seems to be a standard bulb, and the other lights are LED.

I tried to take some picks, but during the day, the the lights do not photograph well.
