That's the parkway. This was US highway 1.

BTW, came half a second away from totaling my Cayenne about 10 minutes after taking the pic of the Tesla...
There was an accident so I had to turn off and take the back roads.
Was looking at my GPS to see which way to go... looked up and there was some out of the blue pedestrian crosswalk on this country road (newly installed) and the car in front of me was completely stopped.
I was going at least the speed limit... No time to even think of braking... fortunately there was a grassy area and no trees.
Took it off-road and miraculously was able to just keep it moving.
Lesson learned hopefully.

did 2 things today:
-ordered a new key after finding one in the dryer...
-needed to panic stop to not hit a right on red turner, wheels locked up. The next time I started it, an error came up claiming ABS is not working. No kidding. Will get a durametric on it today to figure out what's going on.

Default On the road again

After about 2 weeks on blocks… driving again!
new upper / lower control arms, sway links, salvage driver front strut…

now back to the shop: new check engine light, bolt extraction so we can connect the PDCC sway link again.

Found Eurowise makes aluminum pieces to connect the ride height sensor to the UCA, so ordered those. (Both mine broke on removal, and the only other way to get them is with the $300 ride height sensor… currently zip tied and plastic bonded to get me going)

I hope to be posting beauty shots and adventure shots soon!

Very good call. I’ll look into that soon.
I added a bit of the 3M protective wipes once I was done (came with the 3M Headlight Kit I purchased). Will see about removing that and going the PPF route.

Thanks!

Default 957 CTTS White-Out Headlights

everyone is always blacking out this or that, so I decided to see what color coding the interior of the headlights would look like. I think it turned out pretty good. Thoughts?

Default Swapped out my worn Havana steering wheel for a Black & Tan combo

$45 on eBay.
I was gonna put up a tutorial, but the info is out there and I have to convert all of my stupid HEIC iPhone photos.

Took mine in for it's yearly check (APK in Netherlands).
Sailed through without any problems.
Very happy.

Cut the roof off my 06 S with 140K miles. A tree had fallen on it and crushed the roof. I bought it to put on a hunting lease. I bought another roof from the junkyard. I plan to put it on within the next few weeks. It will never be on the road but they are great for the deer lease. I have used my other Cayennes for years at the lease. This one I will not have to be careful with.
