Changed my power steering cooler https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...ng-cooler.html
Since everything is apart I'll be changing my diverter valves next.

Three Wheelin'
Waiting on flange recall service, one month to get in
They must be down to a single mechanic, with all of other techs having left to open their own boutique shops

Electric nightmare
Today, and last weekend, I been trying to fix my multiple warning lights. Have searched and redone those ugly connections in right and left side under carpet. Changhed the 433-relay. But still no luck. Looks like someone before me been trying to solve the problem. See pic, cant be original. Now Ill have some beers...

Well, I bought it is what I did today!
Hey folks! First thanks for all the great advice I’ve been lurking and soaking up.
I picked up an ‘09 CTTS with 83K mikes today for $17K. I feel like a got a good deal (don’t spoil it for me).
did a full PPI with a local ex-Porsche mechanic who owns and off roads a Touareg. I felt pretty good about getting straight up good info from him. (OnSiteInspecting.com for those of you in SLC Salt Lake City Utah).
Shopping-list likes for me: CTTS, under 100K, PDCC, PASM (obviously, as turbo), non-pano. Oh and those fancy headrests with the crests (ha ha but, yeah.)
Would have if I could have: brown or other interior or alcantara two tone that came on GTS, 4-zone climate control, maybe the entertainment system, non-smoker package (seriously? An ash tray? Lol)
PPI good: cardan bearing and both shafts already replaced at some point, no wet floorboard stuff, solid no wobbles, no codes (and it had not been reset), no evidence of scoring (god I hope this is much less likely post 83K), both headlamps replaced with updated parts and no evidence of wiring issues…
Stuff to fix: battery running on last legs, F/L CV joint boot leaking, impacts to rear tie rods? (I think, I have to look again), 4mm left on brakes, needs new turn and parking lamps, and currently sitting on blizzak winter rubber.
I plan to try to get as many of the service records as possible. It has had some things done here and there.
possible future: 3” lift (eurowise?) (keep pdcc and pasm), likely to downgrade CTT 19” front brakes for base so I can run 18’s and 32” or so, remove front and rear lower valance (fascia?) to make room for tubular bumpers, modern head unit, underbody protection, overland bits, etc.
if you happen to know a solid independent mechanic here in SLC, please LMK.
hope to see you all out there someday.
