^ does it look like the original? Same thing happened to me so I replaced mine.
“Feels” original - did you replace with Same part or did you go exotic with some generic vacuum line? I am super hesitant to touch anything back there for fear of breaking more lol

I replaced with the same part. For a while I had it glued and zip tied.

Had to get a new battery after almost 8 years. Been using Interstate refurbished batteries with success on a few in the fleet. Saves a bunch of $$$ and the lifetime of the battery has been really no different than a 'new' one.

Thats a good run.
Had you ever done maintenance charging on it, I have a Ctek charger with then maintenance option but wasn't sure if it works on AGM batteries.
No trickle charging on this vehicle, it gets driven regularly, the 993 is always on a trickle charger though...
I drive mine of a weekend mainly but have a dashcam that sits on standby. I have a trickle charger that i should setup.
I occasionally get the 4wd fault light which i believe indicates a low battery as once i drive its all good again.

Hardwired dashcam? Usually have built in low voltage trigger to turn off. I too had the 4wd faulty / workshop error, but mine ended up being the servo for the transfer case.
Trickle charger for yours makes sense if it’s not driven regularly. Our sits anywhere from 3-10 days.

Yes its hardwired and it does have the low voltage cutoff the 4wd fault does not show that often just every now and then if its been sitting for a week or so.
battery seems quiet new haven't load tested it as yet.
