Interesting to follow these VIN#’s and draw conclusions to the scenarios and what these things are trading for privately. Just connecting the dots on this one;
-Previous owner lists it on PcarMarket last month and did not sell for $92k. *Owner obviously had a higher reserve set and wanted something more than $92k.
-Seeing how the current seller is a dealer, the previous owner likely trades or sells vehicle to dealer. *knowing the previous owner had a reserve of a figure higher than $92k begs to question exactly what the selling dealer actually paid for it... did the previous owner stick to his guns of $92k or more, or just call it an L? I can’t see a dealer paying $92k and investing the time just to make a couple thousand.
It’s crazy to see these cars moving for the amount of money they are..

This selling dealer posted in the comments that the "only" comp was the blue one that went for $120k so to me that implies he's thinking this will be up in that ballpark.
edit: heh, the same dealer also thought his 996 was going to hit $50k but it fizzled at $36k so maybe he's a bit too starry eyed.

WOW is all I can say. I knew these cars would go up due to the last of the driver control nature of the cars and non-drive by wire but never thought they would go up so quickly. Imagine as the CARB regulations push out national wide and a forced governmental push towards electric vehicles in the USA changes. The combustion engine market may go up even higher. It really is the end of an Era. Glad I lived through the age of making engines purr with a screw diver, a sense of smell, and knowing when wiping the inside of an exhaust pipe what might being going on in those cylinders.
Moment of silence to all of us.

and yet my insurance company values my pristine 2011 997.2 TTS with only 17k miles at $78K....they want to see a Porsche dealer appraise the car to see what its market worth is - lol. Only good news is in the event of loss, they value it at the HIGHER of market price vs. agreed price

The .2 Cab 6 speed is already at $100k....

How much less would a tiptronic that is similar in miles and options but in a better (minimally rarer) color like Atlas do compared to the $138k black one? Asking for a friend... ok me lol.

I think people have been at home way too long and are making silly decisions. I was SUPER happy to get $99K for my car earlier this year with half the milage and way cleaner than this. The only option mine did not have vs this was the rear diff....
Besides, tips & cabs, I have always eliminated black / black cars from my search as they are the most common / boring combo.
For that price I would go get a 991.1 TTS all day long.
