In process of stripping engine to address cooling issues. To whoever is considering pinning cooling fittings with engine inside, I would strongly suggest to reconsider. Take it out, and inspect everything. You will be surprised what you will find.

One of the issues I discovered.

I attended my first PCA drive yesterday. Pretty cool and the weather was awesome. About 15 cars in all on a 50 mile drive along the Bayous of South Louisiana. Then a stop off for some boiled crawfish. A couple of 997 TTs in attendance. On the way home I flipped 25k miles. A good day all around.

While getting a full ppf wrap and ceramic coating, I decided to wrap the silver rims of the Fuchs in black vinyl. My apologies to the purists, but I like the look so far. I have not seen it in person yet; picking her up tomorrow.

D.o.D: I love those wheels. Silver pops, and all black looks sleek. You've got options! What brand front lip, I like it quite a bit?

Thanks! I got her back today, and the black barrels look even better in person. The splitter is a bit of a mystery, at least as far as I know. It was on the car when I got it a few months back. I think the closest thing to it is the Werks splitter here:

Werks1 - Porsche 997.1/997.2 Turbo Carbon Fiber Front Splitter (championmotorsport.com)

But mine seems a bit matte carbon fiber, while that Werks one seems glossy. (I wish mine was glossy, but the car came with matching air vents and a rear diffuser that are also matte, so I'd have to change it all. I'll leave it for now.)

Installed the Zunsport grills today, along with a GT3 shifter. And had my first ride since the Europipe got installed. Wow! Oh, and I installed a DSC controller today.

I know, I know, my garage is pathetic. Next project.

Put my zone series 1 wheels from my old 996t on the 997. Liking the offset/stance wheel well fill; not sure if I’ll stick the chrome or not but it was worth a 100 tire swap to try it out.

Swapped out the MAP sensors and uploaded the Ultimate Motorwerks tuned file. WOW!!! That's some ridiculous power. Love this car!

had Numeric SSK and Function First cable ends installed. I didn't trust my self to do it so had my Indy do the work (no pics). The shifts are incredible, highly recomend this mod if your into this sort of thing.

Steering wheel looks great. I'm a sucker for flat bottom steering wheels.
