Sorry to add more confusion, but I was scrolling up and down the thread, and noticed that -
@00 Scrub ordered part number SUCO 0140459031009 - https://www.hidramatic.com/en/pressu.../0140459031009
@JB 911 ordered part number SUCO 0140459032009 - https://www.hidramatic.com/en/pressu.../0140459032009
Both thread size are the same, but do we know the differences?
(I got mine from @00 Scrub and @bonehead verified that it's working in his car)

The number where a red "X" is the washer option-but I expected an aluminum washer, and they said it was not going to be included. I used my original aluminum washer
So 00 Scrub and I got the same exact switch.

Only after the members determine if they have the small thread version from the first generation 000 111 FAL, or the one that was purchased for all of us and indeed is used in the second generation FAL 000 112, which should be the one in cars that had the FAL replaced under warranty, or later 2010 cars, an order can be placed for the less common 1st generation FAL version with small thread-
You would logically assume it's the one that says "1/8" on the catalog, but Bovien's post is confusing. But he did say that an M12 nut fit on his switch, because he was confused himself with the thread description. So this means he used the small threaded switch. But he never posted the suco part number, and hasn't answered the PM I sent.
If cdixon reads this, he took his FAL apart, analyzed all sorts of things and might chime in. The thread is not metric; he might know more about this, or maybe his switch is the second gen like mine with the larger thread.
If we can't find out which one it is, an email to Mr.Weiss in Germany, showing the two pictures of the switches, and explaining the situation might not be too difficult. And in the worst case scenario, mail in and old switch before ordering- 5 switches is only a little over $200

Replaced mine today. I remember having the FAL replaced under warranty at one point. My old switch had oil extruding from it when I removed it. It also had a gold washer with a rubber insert.
I just tested it with the car sitting in my garage and the LIFT indicator appeared. It wouldn’t return to the lowered mode by pushing the switch, but I think the car has to move before you can get it to lower with the switch?

Ok, I just went through the site in Spain that also sells the switches
That Suco catalog has extra info that I hadn't seen. In particular, there's a list of the threads:
As confusing as Bovien's post was, he said he could fit an M12 nut on his. On the chart, I can see that M12X1.5 7/16 is listed as a thread option.
I posted that at the hardware store I could fit a 14mm 1.5 nut on my old switch.
So looking at part numbers, the 7/16 20 UNF might be the one for those with the small thread switch.
Part number 0140-459 20-X-312
However, the switches we received, and are the correct fit for our 2nd generation FAL, is 0140-45903-2-009, 1/4 BSPP.
Anyone who could take the small thread switch off the FAL, and confirm that an M12 metric nut will fit, will probably clarify which one is the number to order. It's looking like it's the one above, 7/16-20 UNF, Part number 0140-459 20-X-312
There is the possibility that suco's catalog itself might have a typo/mistake.
Here's the page where I got the screen shot:

Reading older posts, 00 Scrub got his switches at https://thesensorconnection.com/

One more screen shot-the suco catalog, maybe the older one, also listed our switch, 0140-45903-2-009, 1/4 BSPP, as "G 1/4":
As I observed, it looks like the small thread switch is the 7/16-20 UNF, Part number 0140-459 20-X-312

Combed through many pages, even Bovien's comments which got very confusing, it seems he got the same switch we did-and I see no one who ordered the switch for the first generation pump. This means only after 8lug receives his switch, assuming there will be a suco part number engraved on it, to identify the correct one to order direct from suco.
cdixon posted on the belt-Conti HTD 312-3M-09. It would be nice to replace it or have it on standby, it is apparently easy to replace, under the black plastic cover, while replacing the switch-
Searched for the belt, here's a site with the exact one:
https://us.rs-online.com/product/con...m-09/72098724/
Then went to check out and with handling fees and shipping the cost grew to over $20 🫤
There are other brands such as Gates, some as cheap as $3.50 but I'd prefer Contitech.
cdixon also posted an incredible pdf he made of he entire FAL system, many pages ago:

Very curious what size it actually is, let's see when it arrives-
Today I got the car up, went under and disconnected the banjo bolts that feed the air into the struts-I had done this before (bought the new copper washers) and today I wanted to run the pump since the weather is good, lower humidity, to air out the system. I cranked up the car, pressed the lift button and went under and held the hose ends-pinched them with thumb and finger(I'm 6'2" so I can reach both at the same time). This is a good way to actually feel the air; cdixon's problem was a broken belt, and in that case one might hear the electric motor spinning, but get no air since the pump is not moving-
After I reconnected the banjo bolts, ran the car but decided to cut it off and lower the car back to the ground. After turning it off and removing the key, I could hear that the pump was running(!) Probably because it was emptied out.
Thought it was interesting that it kept running without the key even being in the car.
After I had the car back on the ground, I cranked it up and the LIFT light came right back on, raised very quickly, as it has since I put in the new switch 👍

My new switch sort of works. I get the LIFT displayed, but I wouldn’t say it comes up quickly. And sometimes it doesn’t release the pressure when hitting the switch the first few times I press it. I know those might be the symptoms before a switch malfunctions so I’m curious to see how long this new switch will last.

I just timed my lift-I pressed the Lift button and simultaneously the chrono on my watch-by the time I looked up to the dash, Lift light was already coming on, and I was already late to stop the watch, it was about 5 seconds 🤯
