oof that’s a nice spec... Anybody know the history? I’ve seen post #4593 and #6920 but not much to learn.

Also found this https://www.builtforbackroads.com/li...orsche-911-gt3

i presume that was after it was for sale in Feb ‘21 at $105k ask because the mileage is the same but the ask was up at $115k

outstanding spec. All the yellow accents go perfectly with silver. Are the wheel barrels in silver aftermarket? I thought black wheels came as all black from the factory.

On the bumper. As I mentioned I hit a piece of debris and knew it because if I looked at the bumper with polarized sunglasses I could see where it happened. The film did its job, but when the film came off so did the paint. My only suggestion to anyone else is be mindful of that if you are refreshing the film. Polarized sunglasses can show you things you may not notice otherwise.

I've not heard of Ferrari paint being thin. I've always felt it was pretty amazing. Lots of 308s out there with original paint that look amazing.

Great advice for sure and makes sense that the impact was what caused the paint to pull.

Ferrari's have plenty of paint defects coming from the factory but cannot specifically speak to thinness. https://www.detailedimage.com/Ask-a-...c-auto-detail/

Knowing how to remove PPF is half the battle. Good shops know the secrets and will always hot steam to remove..

this car was owned by a member on here, and it was on autotrader at the time for 115k which at the time was high and he was in no rush to sale. And you know how market is now so.

Slightly off topic, but looks like Snaveed is back in the game.

I want autoblip on mine. 😁

Thats a nice 04 GT3 Snaveed is after. I really miss the smaller size and simplicity/wildness of my old ones. What a rewarding handful these 996-3's are.

Cheers, maybe pm me if you know who it was? This seems like a great opportunity. The car is currently owned by the guy who owns Vanquish, I spoke with him yesterday and he told me he’s not entirely ready to sell yet but would let it go for full pop. Sounds reasonable...

The white .2 RS at Porsche Irvine is sold. I was tempted but will stay patient for the right spec.

What is your ideal spec?

.2 RS on BaT. Clearly not a collector piece, which makes it very attractive to me. No concerns about putting miles on it and driving it hard on the track. Interested to see what the final number will be.
