As expected, this car sold as soon as the dealership opened today. Someone got a bargain.

Since I'm sure the tire kickers in this thread did not jump on this car , should we take bets on which dealer/flipper snagged it?
As @Upscale Audio always wisely reminds us, send deposit first, ask questions later.

Agreed - This is as fair of a deal as it gets in this market. Deposit first and inspect the car second when good deals come up.

Default McKenna Porsche

This is a first for me—contacted McKenna porsche tonight about a low mile UV 991.1 3RS that’s on their site and after starting to wuiz the salesperson on paint readings, whether the car ever had a rollbar installed (front bucket looked like it might have had the center belt through it), tire DOT numbers etc.was told by this guy that it was a consignment from one of the principal’s friends and he did not think they could sell the car to an out of state resident. I live in OK. The car is apparently a Montana tax dodge registration, He couldn’t give me a reason for this prohibition for out of state sale. So I told him that’s fine—my son is a physician in San Francisco—problem solved. That silenced him. Has anyone heard of this before?

Ya I live in idaho and bought a car in LA about 5 years ago from a dealer and had to use my office address in SF make some work around… can’t remember the details of why though

pretty sure I had to pay CA sales tax, then show idaho I already paid it

Sketchy tax dodging. Happens often. Make sure there is a paper trail of owners and registrations before biting.

Sound like something originally coined by Mooty. Kevin does have this ear to the pavement though. He's gathering a ton of info on the market which is great for everyone.

I'd look into the laws/rules for this. Would want to know for future.

I try to keep an eye and PM people that have posted here if somebody posts something. But @RapidGT is the King of For Sale Listings and historical data of the cars for sale. I don't know how he does it, but John deserves an award.

GP Motors just got in a 13k-mile white/red .2 RS. PCCB and FAL. $151k original MSRP. No current pictures yet, but they list the price at $166k.

Price doesn’t seem right unless the car is a salvage title or something. Still, I don’t think GP Motors would take in a salvage title car even though some of their cars have stories.

Current listing:
https://www.grandprimotors.com/used/...b84c37ceba.htm

Previous listing from 2012 at 2900 miles:
https://gtregister.com/wp0ac2a99bs783119/

VIN: WP0AC2A99BS783119
