The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

If I'm a buyer then I'm trying to get your car for 120k or less, if I'm you and a seller I'd say its worth 130k+ due to the low miles even with the track time as long as everything is well taken care of. Some of your past pics also show the CF seats, are those in the car still? If so you should advertise that since those seats are worth 10k and highly desirable.

Looks very nice. Anyone looking should give serious thought to this one. I dont think the price is that crazy either for the current market when it is hard enough to just find a good car at this point.
As you have owned both 7.1 GT3 and 7.1 RS, it sounds like you would like to trade back to the GT3? Curious to know why.

a narrow body .1gt3 is great to rack up miles. Im more of a collector so gt3rs is better for me. If i could buy my old gt3 back for 90-93 i would but likely that boat sailed.

^^^^^^. that garage floor 👌👌
Been off for 5 days, love to see the banter.
following market closely, commercial building has yet to close, looks like it never will lol.
By time the building closes the market may just slow down....ya never know.
I'm contemplating selling my 7.2S at the moment.....
Love watching this thread though, great advice, great cars....mostly good people lol...

In case anybody cared or wanted to know, my GT3 is sold and going to a good home in the California Bay Area. I will let the new owner reveal himself on RL if he chooses. I was surprised by how much interest there was in the car, but I guess I shouldn't have been. More anecdotal evidence the GT3 market is hot: within 2 days of posting in this thread that my car would be for sale soon, I had 5 potential buyers lined up and came to a PPI-contingent agreement within 3 days. Yowza.
Best of luck to those still searching. I will echo sentiments from others who have been recently hunting or purchased: scan this thread often, post a WTB ad, and actively contact RL members and beat the bushes. You never know who might consider selling for the right price but hasn't posted a FS ad for whatever reasons. Some are on the fence and all it takes is a little nudge to get them to sell. Given the low production numbers, loosen your requirements as much as you can and when the right car comes along, be prepared to pull the trigger quickly and don't hesitate. Have your cash on hand or financing lined up.
I'm fortunate to have had my dance with a 997 GT3 and happy it is going to a new steward. I hope others will get their opportunity soon as well.

Me!
There's a white 2011 RS w/ 17k miles coming up at a dealer. Original owner had it 9 years. Present owner has had it a few months and I'm guessing is flipping it. They want $178k. I'm getting pictures of it now. I will advise.
EDIT here's a link from the previous sale GT3RS
It was sold at Rosner Motorsports previously
It used to have stripes
Now they took off ALL the decals. Why?
Here it is today

If anyone knows who bought the black .1 that's made to look like a RS with red stickers from New Jersey. PM me.

I have one of the 23 CB GT3’s, bought back in Oct 2019. It was not the cleanest GT3 example, but I love the cobalt blue color, it was priced well below the 2021 market, and it was / is mechanically solid. I could barely afford it at the time (certainly not Dave Ramsey approved), but I bought it anyway, figuring I might not get another chance. I am SO glad I did. I feel bad for all you guys looking to get into the GT market right now but don’t have the type of funds to pay the 2021 price. I’m going to my first track event in a couple weeks. Super excited! My recommendation: if you find a car you like, even if it’s not perfect, buy it and make it your own.
