Anyone have thoughts around this one? What would be a good price? Seems harder to value when the miles start getting higher?

Also, is there a 997 GT3 buying guide someone can point me towards? I couldn't find one in the search. This would be my first GT3.

Did you see the black GT3 @switchcars posted above? Assuming you like the color, I would pick that car over the one at Benz N Beemers. It has way less miles and being sold by a GT3 expert rather than a franchise dealer. Yes, it's over 10k more, but it's still a better value. Remember, there is nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche.

Thanks for the reply.
Dealer doesn't have any service history outside what we can all see unfortunately. I also found out the front passenger wheelhouse has a crack in it. Not too concerning unless previous owner cheeped out on maintaining it.
A PPI will definitely be needed. Anything else that should be done before a purchase on something like this? Over rev test? I'm assuming a reputable Porsche specialist would know everything to look at in a car like this?

Looks like there is some weird history with this car as seen in this other forum post:
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...47s792127.html
"After I talked to the original builder I found out the car spun 180 and went into a wall backwards on a track day. The frame was straightened and the quarter panels were replaced with RS quarters. They installed GT2 side skirts, a replica 7.2 deck, 7.2 front bumper (replica) and a 7.2 rear bumper. A CF sunroof delete was also installed.
The PPI came out to be an absolute nightmare. I found the shop off Rennlist and the owner told me to run. He said even for $40k he wouldn't even consider the car. Multiple panel has peeling paint, runs, chips, etc. Mechanically the car needed attention as well. Things weren't put together correctly and the rear quarter panels were rolled with channel locks.
For $89k the car is a joke. It was in the high 60's low 70's when I looked at it. Even at that price I wouldn't consider it. It looks great in photos, no doubt.

Drifting
I bought mine sight unseen and have never driven a GT3. Well technically I flew to anther state and I got to drive it for 10 mins before forking over the funds, no regrets.

So you saw the car in person and test drove it before buying? That is the polar opposite of buying "sight unseen".
