Exactly!

If a prospective buyer wishes to alienate the seller, IMO a prospective buyer who is not being ready to pull the trigger immediately will generally do that or miss out on the purchase to someone with ready cash available.

"Well, I need to sell my car first" is likely the worst-ever attempted buying technique.

Agreed. When this one popped up for $124, I realized it is within reach. But being contingent really means i'm not ready (i am more of a cash in hand or pre-approved kinda guy with money mgmt). I really was only looking for a 08-2011 GT3, but if i sell both toys, i can reach the RS.
I guess i'm prematurely.....well, you know

Yes, it really is. I'm not wishing to alienate the seller, but i am kicking the tires. Feeling it out of sorts. And completely OK with missing out on purchase, won't be the first, won't be the last.
After a few comments on this thread, looking into it, the car has been for sale a while and to me that is a red flag.

Did that with my current 911, did my research, looked at one other and one (didn't look at but knew was super clean), emailed/called both thanking for their time (ending up getting one CPO'd and rarer interior, less mileage, one year newer, and $5,000 less).
I try to roll with class, i know that is not vindictive of this industry however.....

After I purchased my 997TTS (out of warranty) the rear wing actuator system failed. Porsche of Irvine covered the cost of repair.

Highly recommend SA Michael Ulibarri 949.668.6342.

Does it still have most of the added stuff it showed when I saw at the kennel beside the GT2 Buckets? Thanks as I’m no longer local. It was asking 15k more with him as a side.

I don’t know. I didn’t dig that deep. Call Mike and if he doesn’t know he’ll find out. I’m making 4 trips to LAX next week, if I pass by while their open I can snap some pics if you’d like.

I talked to Aaron too. I'm not ready though. I am in my head.

I’ll ask for Mike as Bgoldey mentioned. As an enthusiast, I take that advice highly. My regret is I called before seeing the tip

Default 997.1 GT3 Dallas

Been looking for 997.1 GT3, not necessarily for Pure Track duty, got a dedicated 987.2 S for that, this is just a "want". Anyone looked at or know more about this 997.1 GT3 at Park Place in Dallas? (https://www.parkplace.com/VehicleDet...-TX/3453528103) I have reviewed the attached files and the car has seen extensive track duty with repairs, Coolant pipes not welded/pinned, over rev in 3 Range late in life...appreciate more experienced GT3 user comments.

^^^ on looks alone, it's gorgeous ^^^

it's not a high MSRP example ($114K), not that that has too much impact on resale but may be of interest to the prospect (as far as options go)

I guess it's hard to say how much track time, again, that doesn't always pose a negative to some - but it might for others....crap shoot

the mileage is fine (but that doesn't bother me - I've owned enough p-cars to understand that can take many, many miles and the Mezger is a great engine

coolant lines, really depends on who you talk to. Most guys will say pin/weld - always. I've had dealers tell me if track is not intended, not to worry (perhaps better safe than sorry??? it's a spendy fix...)

I doubt svc records are avail., many times they are not (which was the case in both of my .1s) - it'd be nice to have them but...

mine has 0 over-revs, 61.6K miles, no welded lines, some paint (by me - no accident), $131K MSRP and may be going on the block - eyeing a couple cars coming up at auction in SEP

Good deal for someone looking for a GT3 sub $80k. 2008 GT3, 50,450 miles, $79k. I think it has been up on Autotrader for some time, but has been relisted recently.

This one's on the house. Guy who bought it from me did track it a fair amount, maintained it impeccably at Steinel's Autowerks, but it does have repaired damage from hitting a tire wall.
