The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

I truly laugh at how critical some buyers are, but to be fair it's their time and money, not mine.
I am truly blessed to own my two high mileage GT cars that no one else wanted, and I love them both dearly. I am the second owner of my GT3 RS and the fifth or sixth owner of my GT2. Both have high mileage by Porsche standards and are not collector grade cars...which means nothing to me as I am going to drive both as much as I can. Both passed their respective PPIs with flying colors and I'm a very proud papa, knowing that I have 2 GT cars for the price of 1 low mileage collector grade example of each. Just the way I'd want it.
Regarding Sport Chrono, I'd much rather have my GT3 spec'd without it and feel that the smooth 'wart free' dash looks much better. My GT2 doesn't have it and I prefer that look. Carry on!

Higher mileage, no PCM, but looks like a great driver's example at PNH

I drove past this 997.1 Pumpkin today in Kirkland, WA. Kind of at an unknown dealer so no clue why they have it. $138k and 26k miles (WP0AC29917S792974)
https://www.mudarrimotorsports.com/d...e-911/53264174
It was previously @ Switch Cars 2.5k miles ago: https://www.switchcars.com/cars-for-...che-911-gt3-rs
For some reason the dealer added an obnoxious window sticker with their name and numbers on the windows, which aren't in the pics they provide on their site.

Any history info on this 997.1 RS on BaT?

Has the Kermit vs Orange premium shrunk back to zero yet?

Premium is still there. I think 1 or 2 have sold for *less* of a premium that maybe before. I still kick myself for not buying 1 here in socal that had carbon wheels on it for ~$100k a good # of years ago. Is there any history on this car? PPF drives me crazy on a whole car. how do you validate if the car has paint work underneath it?

Easy, paint work is all about consistency. If you paint meter the whole car with paint protection film on it and it all reads at 10 mills, that makes sense. Because PPF is typically 7 mills, then add 3 mills for the paint underneath. If you were metering and you got to a panel that was 15, then you know you have a problem on your hands.
Yes, consistency is key. But eyes are important too, checking for overspray, tape lines, fisheyes, etc etc.
I have seen bare metal repaints which metered the same as factory.
