The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

Depends on how they're attached. OEM ones use double sided tape. I've removed and installed them on 2 cars now with no issues. Once set, that tape is strong! I know for a fact that it can withstand 160+ MPH winds

A few notes on that GT Silver RS for sale in Denver. This car was bought from this place (http://www.lamacsautomaxx.com/2011-P...3/Details.aspx) by I assume the dealer in Denver. This car was once owned by "GT3DE" on RL after I did some search. It does have a new engine. Original thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...a-11-rs-2.html
The dealer in NY and CO are owned by the same family.

The replaced engine I see as a plus. The short 6th gear, not so much...

If anyone is looking for a smoking deal on a 991 GT3 RS, then head to Stevens Creek Porsche!
They have a Lava Orange with buckets and a Ultraviolet with 18 ways. Both have MSRPs around 211k and they are only adding on a 150k market adjustment! WooHoo!!

Last time I was in there they had a $30k mark up on a GT4 that didn't even have LWB's.

- probably need to be an official sponsor if you are a Porsche dealer selling cars here
- probably good to list asking prices in your for sale posts
- probably also need to learn difference between 997 and 991 for sale threads

They must have missed the memo that RSs don't trade at $100k+ over anymore. Looks like both RSs have soft seats. Morons. haha

salesman i talked to seemed rather skeptical of the mark up too and commented that they haven't had any offers made on them.

Not a great looking one! Has been tracked and is in a bad shape cosmetic wise. One member flew to Houston to drive it. He walked away from the deal. That car has been for sale for a while at momentum porsche and then disappeared. Price was @ $83k. So it didn't sell and now it is $2k more!lol!

For me by looking at the driver's seat only it was already a deal breaker . It depends on what you are looking for. It is a great deal for a dedicated track car. GL

Thanks.
yeah, seat was not looking good, and I hated the fact that someone retrofitted it to accept a harness.

Pm member TomCA911. I remember him saying the car was in rough shape (dings, scratches, excessive wear and tear etc..). DME was looking good.
