Thanks Anthony for your help while I was looking at the car.

For me by looking at the driver's seat only it was already a deal breaker . It depends on what you are looking for. It is a great deal for a dedicated track car. GL

Nope.
High MSRP build
Decent mileage
Price fair
But too much red for my taste.

Last time I went to Stevens Creek Porsche and was interested in a GT4, I was told I was #1 on the list and then the car never came through. However, when their manager was getting one through Porsche, they offered to sell it to me at $20K over. Afterwards, they got a GT3 and told me they wanted somewhere around $40K over for that. Sorry, no "smoking deals" at Stevens Creek just smoke and mirrors.

The simple fact is that dealers do this because people are willing to pay ridiculous markups for these cars. If consumers refuse to pay the markups then dealers will be forced to stop adding them on.

Steven's Creek has been doing this as long as I can remember so clearly the strategy has not been failing them. Buyers are to blame.

not a 997, but a 991 GT3 RS in Aqua Blue. claimed to be a 1 of 1.
Would look nice next to my 997.2 aqua blue, but so would $324k...

Looks very pretty. Something tells me that for the newer cars, pts doesn't mean as much (seems like it suddenly became very popular) and blue especially became the poster color for it. Riviera Mexico. Cobalt. Aqua. They even came out with a new blue for all the blue fanboys: voodoo. Blue is so popular on the new cars, there is a new Miami blue too.

Voodoo Blue is actually a Toyota (FJ40) color. I like it. But I agree that PTS is a lot more common on the new cars. Not a bad thing though, Porsche's been making a lot of monochrome cars for so many years now, it's nice to see a touch of color. I saw a Miami blue 991 RS, looked spectacular.

went and checked out that aqua 991 RS. Brad pulled it out of the showroom so we could compare them. definitely looked quite nice in person. i liked how the darker color makes the fender vents a bit less obvious.

interesting choice as a PTS color. i could see if you had a 997.2 RS in that color and wanted a twin. not sure what i'd go with if i could get a PTS 991 RS. maybe one of the bubble gum colors used on those 964 Cup cars.

Agree with you.

It feels like many are doing PTS now - are they all worth 325k? Who is going to buy them all?

Going to go out on a limb and say this price is a tad high, but car is gorgeous.

Anyone know this one?
http://www.autolist.com/listings/WP0AC29937S792362

Is zero over revs even possible?
Can the system be somehow wiped clean?
What happens if you buy a new ECU for example, wouldn't that clear the DME?
I just find it really strange and unthinkable that a GT3 with a manual trans would have no over revs especially in range 1.

It's 100% possible, it just means the owner(s) never bumped into the rev limiter.

I know what it means.
How is that possible though
In 25k miles you would think it would be in range 1 at least once. Just looks fishy.

If the car were completely stock & flawless, I'd believe it (people who keep their cars in that condition are sometimes the types to rarely rev them out, let alone hit the limiter).

With the mods on that car, though, I agree with you that it's fishy.
