The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

I joke but I really like collecting mostly exotic/super cars especially Porsche. Have young kids so I take them to Walmart just to look and play with toys for a few minutes but it also gives me a chance to see if there's a hot wheels 911 on the shelf. It's my poor man's car collecting fix!

How are ceramic brakes or stiching douche? Curious
Hardly, just trying relate to another member here and understand the cash burn happening when doing construction. Wouldn't really call getting married, having to get rid of my x5 for a 3 row off road vehicle or building a guest house for a mother in law I'm inheriting a flex.
I'm not made of money, can't really flex like everyone here in the 997 GT forum about douchy deviated stitch or ceramics brakes.

Just to be clear uph previous post I'm relatively poor (incredibly blessed still) compared to most folks on here - I really do collect on a very, very non serious and small scale, hot wheels and Lego cars.

Was probably a little harsh when I called it douche and likely could have chose a better word but for me, it's just silly to read about interior stitching of car that's designed to be flogged on a track or needing PCCB options just to cruise to cars and coffee.
I think I've derailed this thread enough. Back on topic I go.

920-mile white RS 4.0 up for auction. Has PCCB and black/red full leather interior. Has a low number dash plaque (probably one of the lowest in the US), but production build month is pretty late. Pretty sure they handed out some of these numbered dash plaques based on what the owner requested if they were a VIP.

I actually kinda agree with you on that. Go back and forth about the full leather interior. Cars with very little options (no full leather interior or PCM) have their charms as being very minimalist which I enjoy. Interesting that no RS product before the 997 was available with a full leather interior unless of course some strings were pulled with Porsche Exclusive. Also most of the press cars and photos were of ones without the full leather interior. Think it fits the character of these cars better.

Radio delete was not available with the .1, but was with the .2. A/C delete (option code #574) was available for both the .1 (car in picture has it) and the .2.

Have to disagree, but to each there own. I have had several base interior GT3/RS and leather elevates both quality and interior feel for me anyway, nothing like the smell of quality Porsche leather. At one point I owned three RS's at the same time two leather and one non-leather, which was the first to go? Will not own another non-leather GT car or any Pcar.

I will also make a vow too not sell my car to a dealer or anyone that is intending on flipping it to make a buck. In fact I may have to institute a 12 month lease before you can buy the car from me.
I wonder if one places their car on BAT, can they exclude certain bidders. Seeing as there appears to be a limited supply of these cars and more buyers than sellers, it reasons to say that we can let a few fall by the wayside.

I bought my .1 GT3 from Zweck and couldn't be happier. These are some of the nicest, most professional guys I know in the biz.
