The day when they delivered my white 997.2 GT3, I thought it was one of the best styled Porsche ever. Now I see this. Now, I still love mine. But the new RS is crazy perfect:

 

 

I'd take a 997GT3 4.0RS all day over one of these. Maybe it'll grow on me, but first impression is that it looks a bit busy and almost cartoon-ish.

 

It is a hot car. Just look at it. The street presence will be stunning and the laptimes at the local track will make you a hero.
Going to be **** loads of fun.

That being said i am not selling any of my current porsches to move into one.
I like it, but not gaga as in sell the collection for one...

 

Styling wise they knocked it out of the park. But where are the stickers!?

 

FWIW I prefer the look of he 997 RS 4.0. Not crazy about their initial colors and vents in front fenders.
The new RS, with essentially the same weight (22lbs is nothing) and only 25 hp more, doesnt seem like much of a step up from the GT3. All marketing IMHO. Performance upgrade will be negligible for 99% of folks. I wouldnt turn one down, but not lusting for it.

 

If they offer PTS I guess we will see a lot of black! I think it will look great in black to hide the side intakes and the plastic around the front fenders.

 

can't decide if this car will be as much fun as my 3.8 RS.... need to get some seat time

 

But I'm already a hero at my local tracks, especially driving in my Cayman like my hair is on fire.

 

Looks very nice but not thrilled about the color choices. This car needs PTS bad.

 

I will not buy this car new unless it is a PTS color. Hell, I'll buy the GT4 with the blue that they have offers before I buy the RS in any of those four colors.

I think the styling is not outrageous enough. And this is coming from someone with a silver rs with no decals. It will haul *** and I want one.

 

It's mean and raw, I like these qualities about the new styling. But, the 997.2 RS was much better rounded up, the whole design is more balanced out. The shape just flowed, it was smoother. This is very angry, and has a much more commanding presence. So, it is your pick... Mine is a 997 3.8 or 4.0 RS
