Sorry for the double post
Really dumb question - my 997.2 unit is upgraded to the 2 map version. Getting the car out of storage and I forget if I have to press and hold the sport button. Basically need a DSC for dummies instruction set on how to initiate the different modes

Sport Plus mode tunes on level 2 (20 - 100 %)
Or, the PASM button just toggles between (off) Level 1 and (on) Level 2.
It's just that simple.

Great News Folks!!
TPC is introducing a new "Launch Control" feature to the DSC!! Have a look!
We can send in our units for an upgrade for a small fee (I'll let Tom or someone from TPC announce the pricing).
Mine's going in as soon as possible.

Either way, for the price and few days of turn around, it should be worth it.

If you purchased the V1 997.2/997 Turbo DSC Sport controller within the last year of release of the New Video (5/31/18-5/31/19) it is a $100.00 cost excluding shipping. If the purchase of the DSC Sport controller is outside of this window, it is a $250.00 cost excluding the shipping.

DSC triggering PSM much sooner than stock
I installed DSC module Dec/18 in my 2010 GT3 RS which has stock suspension, new Mich Pilot 4S rears, 25k km MPSSs w lots tread in fronts.
I hadnt been on hilly road trip until 2 wks ago when I noticed very strange behaviour while turning on steeper downhill sections. Essentially the car was cutting power multiple times mid corner and often there was a “granular” sound from front of car that sounded like an activated ABS sound. This was very intrusive and effectively was causing throttle lift oversteer aka “f$&@ing squirrely”. This was at speeds as low as 55 mph on turns that cd probably easily be taken at 70-75 mph.
I had the car at Porsche this week where they test drove it and say it is the PSM kicking in. No computer faults on download. Car drives normally and tracks straight on flat and uphills and corners.
I went out this am and found a corner where I could induce power cutout easily and ran it w DSC in both normal and sport mode. Power cut occurred at approx 50 mph in normal mode and perhaps a bit higher speed in sport. I then put in stock PASM and reran it. I could not induce PASM until 65-70 mph and it was much more subtle.
It seems that the DSC module has a much lower threshold for triggering PSM. I had pinged Tom at TPC last wk and he had not experienced this.
Has anyone else had similar experience?
I will probably replace front tires to eliminate that as a variable.
Thanks for any thoughts!
Cheers
