Somebody just bumped an April/2013 for sale posting for a CPO white car with less than 8K miles that was listed for 136K on 6speed.

Sounds right. This was around the time before things got crazy. It was around 4th quarter of 2013 when prices started going mad. Prices may come down, but considering the 991 RS isn't due until spring of 2015 prices will remain as they are.

Well at least current owners can thank Porsche on this 991 engine debacle. Us prospective owners watch in awe as the price on these cars "appreciate" back to their price when new. Nuts.

Yes, thank you Porsche for laying a dud with the 991 GT3 and I'm sure hoping the 991 RS will be PDK and a turbo. If that happens, 997.2RS prices will be heading into the $200s.

I won't speculate on prices but ... it does look like the next RS will be a blown automatic.

I'd just be happy to put a bunch of miles on it and sell for what I paid! That's a "win" in my book with cars.

Thats how I look at as well. My RS had 14k on it when I got it in November and just turned over 18k this weekend. I've already put nearly a third of the miles the PO put on it over his 6 years of ownership (he did have 5 911s though as I "only" have two).

150-155k is what I'd guess. 5k miles is lowish. You can definitely get a higher mile car cheaper.
