Do any of you guys have any experience dealing with the Chevy dealer trying to buy their top performance car?
Do you need an allocation?
Do you have to deal with a bunch of slimeballs that are selling the rest in the Chevy lineup?
Are there any enthusiast salesmen among them?
Any recommended Chevy dealer around NYC,New Jersey,Pennsylvania?
Do you think they'll try to charge over MSRP?
Sorry for all the questions....
I can't believe I'm interested in this thing!
Do you think a dark color like black would make it look better?

2. http://www.kerbeck.com/ is the largest vette dealer
3. call your local dealer and ask the Mgr for the "vette" specialist
in reality youre prob looking at SPring of 2015 for first customer cars. And Yes I believe there will be a Dealer markup in the beginning.

2) Yes
3) Yes, you go to a Chevy dealership. Who sells Chevy's. Mostly slimeballs.
4) Some, very few.
5) Kerbeck Chevrolet. Deal with Dave Salvatore
6) Local and other dealerships will try to gouge. THose that deal in volume will be sticker right out of the gate.
7) Dark color will hide the ugly *** better.

I don't like it in yellow. Need to see in black or dark gray. Not as excited about the looks as I was at the rendering. The rendering had a bigger from lip. Maybe that is the stage 3 lip.
I don't like the little rivets showing on the rear spoiler either.
Gonna have to see this one in person. And make sure there are no bugs. Then I'll buy.

It does look good, and the pricing is definitely aggressive. Finally has quality Michelin tires and kickass brembo brakes! Reminds me of a certain german manufacturer! Now, if they could just get the interior right - that would be something!

Seems a bit gimmicky, don't know how much difference you will get in adjusting that small of a wing. I would rather it be smooth. The car has enough lines as it is.
Looks like it was designed at a geometry convention up close. They should just clean it up and smooth the whole thing out.

The new Z06 is basically a ZR1 rebadge as Z06. Super charged V8 making 620+ hp/torque. The monster 7.0L NA V8 is gone. My Z06 make 600+ hp/torque with bolt on intake and exhaust and on the track it easy gain and pull away from ZR1.
I like the new Z06 exterior treatment but not sure if I want a supercharged engine. NA is just so linear as far as power delivery. C6 Z06 still look great compare with C7 and it has enough curves to draw attention
Those are some really impressive laps my friend with your Z06. Like you said it is a shame not as many track nuts drive Z06 - they are easy to maintain and fast and really well balanced. Looking forward to chase you at Thunderhill this year - I need to get my mojo in line since you are really quick now

These are the first pictures of the new Z that I have seen and have to say that I'm actually quite impressed! The rear...eh, that I think is something that over time is just going to have to grow on me. As someone that tracks a current C6Z Carbon Edition (like Mikymu's but in orange instead of blue) I can only imagine the potential that the new version of the car is gong to have! Unfortunately vette's are a lot more common than the P-cars or F-cars and the typical owner has the reputation of being more of a waxer than a true automobile enthusiast but I think that often the performance of these cars is underestimated. Here is some video of a few laps that I took in my Z Friday at Thunderhill. This is only the second year that I've been tracking cars and I was on some pretty beat up Continental slicks with around 16 heat cycles on them so I'm sure that I'm still leaving some time on the table but it shows the potential that these cars have with just a few mods.

There will be plenty of bugs to work out.
I have a '13 Z06 and they never worked out all the bugs in the last model year of the C6.
And, with so much new technology on the C7, it may even take longer to work the kinks out.
