A borescope would show you what you need to see further inside.

Someone can't seem to keep the emotion out of this technical discussion.
I have no responsibilities to spend anymore time here.
I NEVER ADVERTISE The PLENUM, Any WARRENTY, any SPECS... NOTHING.
NO ONE ASKED FOR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. JUST WANT PLENUM NOW.
I MAKE, SELL and SEND PLENUM. I SAY TELL ME IF YOU ARE Happy. Let me know.
IF YOU are not, let me know.
Just tell everyone else first not happy.
I did offer to take it back
Can you see where this is headed.
bye bye

Look, I rested my case until you came out defending your craft as if I created facts out of thin air. Then your associate went further and accused me of doctoring pictures. This has to be the most twisted purchase experience ever. Could've all gone very differently--and amicably--if you just said "We messed up. I'll fix it. Case closed."

On the rare occasions that I have encountered an issue like this I just boxed the item up called the vendor for an RMA and returned the part. Next I called my credit card company and contested the charges. What usually followed was a behind the scenes resolution to the problem with both parties coming away with a better deal. Problem solved and both sides got back to doing what they do best.

Extrapolated to the local dyno jet - estimate is 470 to 475 whp

I have to pick up the car and bring it back to town at which point the dyno jet estimate will be verified

All in all a 3.6 to 4.0 bore only build with Dundon exhaust, Dundon headers, autosea plenum, blitzkrieg Autowerks tune, autosea intake and a little BBI head work is about 90-100 whp in our experience

Stock crank, stock cams, stock rods - truly just a big bore kit from wrightwood racing (mahle ms pistons)
has to be we worth a 48 now!

Let everyone know that this vendor--Autosea--has backed away from its public claim to "take the [defective] product back" and has been in radio silence for over a week. Owner Colin wants to charge me shipping both ways (~$400 for each leg) and to add insult to injury, seeks to retrade me for an airbox cover that I bought for $600 saying that it'll be $800 after all this fiasco.

I prepaid $5.75k in mid-February (by bankwire, being an international order) after extensive phone consultations, and the bill came up to $6.75k by the time the various parts finally shipped late March. Vendor won't be getting the balance money coz I'll be spending that with a local CF fabricator to refinish the tattered interior of the plenum. It may work and it may not, who knows, but I'm not going to count on Autosea to right the wrongs.

The sums involved here are trivial relative to other things in life, and I've learned my lesson. I don't fancy any refund from this vendor at this point and care only about exposing a horrible purchase experience, an unusable product, and a combative vendor who's too proud to see factual problems to say the least.

My expose has been served and I'll rest my case here. That is unless the vendor responds with further aggravation, in which case I'll make sure there is a public document showing the whole purchase experience, detailed pictures of the defective product, transcript of the unprofessional exchanges thereafter, all searchable for anyone bothering to google any permutation of "Autosea" "Plenum" "4.0" and "Airbox".
