Hi Jamie

PM sent

I'm in, I've had the actuator bolts loosen in the first 6 months of ownership and know of at least 2 others that have had the issue both 997.2 GT3 and GT3RS

I'm reading all these other posts about Exhausts cracking and Cats coming apart.

Wondering theses are all connected with the same cause.

No, cracking is caused by very thin construction, and high heat on the back side of the exhaust.

See if the others want a damper... I can put all the ones going to Oz in the same box if everyone is close to each other and save on shipping...

I agree we can't lump on the lack of a harmonic damper for the cracking exhausts, heat cycling and poor material choice is the culprit here.

I am on the other side of the world or as it seems for internal post, Modoz is on the east coast, I'm the west cost massive....

May be able to work something out though hey Mike?

Cheers
Jay

Hi Jay

Happy to get something to work out and assist in what ever way I can

If James wants to ship here then I can sort and distribute no problem.

Best Regards

Dampers started in production, 3 weeks through manufacturing. I'm getting 10 so I'll have a few in stock...

Hello all,

Overdue update. SEMA and sickness created a delay.

We're taking the bull by the horns and using my 3.6L that's out of my car and instrument it to generate the data everyone is looking for. Will take a few weeks to do this. My engine is getting boxed up today and being sent down to California. Also have to put a variocam harness together for the engine management on the engine dyno. We're trying to fast track this so that you all can get your damper.

Thanks all,

Jamie

Will be interested to see the data. I'm sure you'll see a major intake cam resonance at 3-4K as more lifting starts.
