No, although I really like that car. My color is deeper, brighter more toward the mid range of blue with less yellowish hue in it. These pics don't convey the color well. It was sitting under big fluorescent lights and looks a tad to the teal side of the spectrum in these shots. But in person it is not teal or even close

I've thought about doing this recently as well and went through a ton of colors. Ultimately I'd end up with malachite green, rosso barchetta, trout blue or Atlantic blue.

Superquant, first off congrats on choosing the Singer. As far as color is concerned I would hate to be in your shoes because that has to be the worst(if there is such a thing) decision of the project. So many beautiful colors to choose from.

What engine are you choosing? i.e. liters? 3.6 or 3.8?

Just saw the 5th Gear episode...awesome car!

LBF congratulation's on you Singer build. That is a great color. What options are you planning on getting? Also which engine option are you going for?

I also saw the 5th Gear episode... it was a ok review BUT I still think the best review of the Singer 911 is the one done by Chris Harris.

Thanks
Frank

Thanks. I chose the 3.8L and ohlins sport suspension package (I'm thinking about the softer bushings after reading the autoblog today. 5 speed getrag g50 with LSD, Brembo brakes, center line gas tank, leatherweave interior.

Also, in the new Excellence Magazine there's a backdated Carrera with Cibies, in the interior is a picture of the Momo steering wheel which has some excellent patina to it (owner is a big vintage steering wheel collector).
Clearly, the centerpice of the interior. It's a great shot. Made me wonder if they could re-create that patina effect on the dash and the top of the door panel.

p.s.
that pic of the bare clutch and brake pedal next to the polished aluminum throttle reminds me of my set up. Any reason why Singer chose to go that route vs. having all pedals polished?

EDIT:

found a pic. Yep patina is the finishing touch.

Congratulations!

Many beautiful color combos. The blue with yellow decals would be near the top of my list.

Whichever color you chose, I see a large roll of paint protection film in your future.

Probably the owner asked for it.

They're very detail oriented with the owner of the car when it comes to those things.

Great suggestion on the steering wheel. You can see it even better here. Also, do you have a pic of the instrument gauge concept you described? Keep the ideas coming for customization. I personally have not spent a lot of time thinking of any aesthetic options yet, since Rob and the team at Singer do such a fantastic job.

Also, what do you guys think about clear bra on a singer? I'm planning on driving mine a great deal and using it well! My preliminary thought is no bra and living with whatever pops up!
