Yes thank you.
I received the email today from DM website and Paypal has informed of the reimbursement.

Your whinging means nothing on Rennlist. Take it to COTA's Facebook page if want to have any impact at all.

Facebook doesnt mean much more, at the end of the day money will win out and the number of angry people will not be a big deal. Keeping de out will not hurt cota. With so many big series coming they dont need our money. Their likes on fb are growing far faster than than the group of people who will claim never to go again. Either pay what they want or dont. The track isnt going under any time soon.

They can open their own de at will and it will sell out like the drivers edge event did in 10 hrs. There is plenty of money they can have thrown their way. Such is the way of this country. Just doesnt feel s9 good when you are the one on the helpless end.

^ not really. FB is well... FB. i dont even really know how that works. and money is just money. but karma is a bitch. what comes around goes around. what goes up must come down.

as i posted on 6gt3 forum as well. COTA claims DM dates are reserved to testing... which team? do they know about the COTA story. a team with integrity WILL cancel their testing. there's right way and wrong way to make money... and this is not the right way.

I don't care what you charge. I just care that a commitment once made, verbal or otherwise, is honored. And I disagree that a barrage of negative comments on FB has no impact.

I agree, I think their business practices are terrible.

I just don't think in the long run it will mean anything. They will just not allow regulars on the track, and that wont hurt them. Neither will the small number of people like us who will have nothing to do with them for a while.

I guess this is what happens when you spend $400 million building a motorsports facility, but refuse to use any seasoned motorsports people in upper management...instead preferring real estate hucksters and parimutuel horse racing promoters.

I did write to them to make sure they know I will never return for any event regardless. F1 is all over the world and as I go to races throughout the country for Grand-AM and such, I will NOT be coming to COTA. They do not earn my money. F(ck them

anybody here write for Excellence or PCA publications? Broad negative press could add pressure? Maybe a local TV sports guy? If nothing else would be fun to watch the execs squirm. Maybe a local guy write a letter to the editor??
