I agree, I did not go as wide as Nigel, just too risky

Once I figured out Nigel's line I like it a lot...u need very quick hands and throttle commitment....I bump rev limiter almost every time

With Nigel's line it's a two event steering shot. Set u up for 15 much better than running over second rumble

Nigel might have suggested going UP a gear!

Easy to export the lap for us all to see a true DE Cup Jedi lap!

Open Circuit Tools, open the file with the lap in it, go to "session" tab, select the magic lap, then "export lap" next to the video icon.

Quick start guide here: http://www.videovbox.co.uk/downloads...oolsManual.pdf

The file name will be the lap number and will be written in the source folder for upload to YouTube!

Nigel is a lot of fun! Bubbly, proficient and funny! Plus, he knows Sebring well.

He does have his own ideas, though... Agree with the "mere mortal line" through Bishops but being more aggressive with the FIRST inside curb AWAYS returns benefits and margin...

The real idea is just to make sure you're parallel with the grass AFTER the second rumble on the left half of the road. The "wide" in the middle can occur at various longitudinal position, relative to the curbing and entry. Looks like you all had fun!

Hard to see from all the smoke and the terrible RK video quality but it was close.

I could forget that on .... F*****

I honestly thought I was going to hit Randy. At that point I was pumping the brakes and trying to move as in as possible and even into the grass.

Peter, tks for all your help. I'll go thru the settings tonight.

One of my videos didn't pick up RPM, for some reason, but before and after that all good.

Tks. again !

I wonder if Stewart has recovered from his ride with Clarke. I wasn't sure if he was going to be able to drive himself home.
I'm alive but still recovering. Those are some quick hands Clarke was using. And both at the same time! Definitely a fun ride.

I guess everyone has a different way to skin that cat. When I was riding shotgun with Dumoulin in the cup yesterday, he was ending up right about in the middle with peak speed of around 140 on gps.

That was nuts. Was Eddie trying to take the inside and blew the corner?

I took the miata out for 20-30 minutes. My session was not nearly as eventful. Quite a challenge to drive with no abs, no power steering, no power brakes, and the ride quality of a dump truck. Not to mention with the fixed seating position, we had to put in pillow in behind me so I could reach the pedals and I was slopping all over the seat

True dat. That's why we keep doing it and talking about it, right?

I like JP's approach...

Yes, Nigel was driving my car showing me some different lines especially on BB into 15.

Considering the speeds he was running, his line didn't seem overly dramatic and for sure wasn't forced. He was clearly guiding the process, but at the same time letting the car do what it was going to do. Even popping out in the middle or to the right didn't seem to impede his ability to to make 15 with ease. Very very smooth.

When I did the Panoz school in 07 They told us the goal was not necessarily to force the car all the way left exiting BB but to be parallel with the track under braking.

Dawg needs a Cup now as he is forever ruined for street cars wanna be track cars.

Peter
