Bump!
We'll be parked near Orbit.
Erik's there, Stephen is driving to Sebring in Trakcar 3.1 (the prettiest, most perfect 3.8 RS I have ever seen!) I'm rowing the trailer with the 4.0 and Eddies car, quatro punto cero will be ther, sharing Nigel Greensal with IZZONE, Senna will be there, mdrums, Clarke and Sly, sttjohn will be sharing Nigel, mdryer will be there.
FLA997 is supposed to be there with the 100point score perfect in your dreams 996cup...
Mike with the black knigh, Dez Wanna911, Paver, (Lindsay), Red Bear and other all will be missed. Grady has a valid excuse as his car is getting fixed, the rest refuses to call in sick....

Thanks Peter for the airport pickup service and taking care of everything for me! Looking forward to seeing the "new car" for the first time and drinks with you, Eddie, etc. when I land. And Erik - I miss Pollo.

My car is STILL in the shop!!! Car has been at home or at the track with me probably 20 days total since April. Mostly really little stuff (alternator died, boost leak, check engine lights from cup clutch) with a dose of broken 3rd gear and splash of new goodies .
I'll be honest, though, doubt I'd drive all the way down there for a 2-day event. If it's not a Time Trial, I need at least a three day event to drive 8+hours. I'll be at Winterfest though. Likely one of my only non Road Atlanta, non Time Trial events for 2013. Hope to do most of NARRA TT schedule for the championship next year. Also have a few lap records in sight and an ultimate goal of a solid 1:24 at Road Atlanta in a TTU car. After that, it's on to racing.
Tire budget this year $00000.00 with tires left to spare. Time Trials FTW!!!
BTW thanksgiving weekend at road atlanta is going to be a barn burner this year. A LOT of fast cars. I can count 7-8 that have run 1:28's or better and almost 20 sub 1:35's..... All in the same group.

Going to bed soon so I can make 8am flight to Ft Myers, pick up rig/cars at Autoquest and drive 2 hours to Sebring. Be there mid-afternoon Friday...
BTW - Sly can't come as she has USA citizenship interview early Monday morning. She would have only gotten one day, not worth it. So instead she went to L.A. this week

We did some warmup runs on I 95 today and no one got arrested.
Clearly time to get it out of our system on the track where it is safe.
We are getting in the spirit; Last night we took Stephen straight from Palm Beach airport to The office for dinner and drinks. For Halloween he even dressed up in a Ferrari shirt and played the part trying to be rude and obnoxius to everyone at which he did not really succeed. Just too nice.
Today we did cars n drinks again starting with a late lunch with followed by a high speed run to Champion, than another run to a good steak house in Boca and back to the bar near home afterwards. Fun filled day, we got 4 x 4.0's together today
To see all the Gt3's driving on the highway is pretty cool I must say.
James (Cobalt blue GT3.2)
Eddie, grey 3.8RS with the loudest no cat exhaust
Stephen, trakcar 3.1
Erik, trakcar 3.0
Jeff, white 4.0
Juan, Maritime blue 4.0
A gentleman just flew in from Colombia to pick up his white 4.0..
Me trakcar 4.0
It was a nice sunny day, great people, cars, food and drinks.
Tomorrow we lock and load for Sebring.
