What's wrong with this car being a street car? It's a 2007 has 38k miles...that is only around 7500 miles a year....no big deal.

not to u and I.
but we are nuts.
my wife would worry about it being streetable.
it will find a right owner I'm sure.
then Erik can chew off reter and Randy's bumpers in a 3.8
what I mean is the value in the PARTS is great. but to a softie, it would appear useless.

I think car would work as a street car just fine. Entire underbody was cleaned, panels were removed and cleaned, suspension and engine cleaned, callipers look brand new and car had clearbra since new. Although the bra took a beating, underneath the car was still brand new. The entire detailing job was $3K. With the 4.0 R&P car is actually much nicer to drive on the street, and stock suspension can be re-installed in a few hours to get a softer ride, although I don't think the KW's have a very harsh ride anyway. Stock seats are comfortable and brand new.

How many of those miles are track miles?
Has any sort of PPI or equivalent been done? If so, do you have the compression / leak down numbers?
For me, the mileage is the scary part. 4 years out, I'd be left trying to pawn off an 70kmi RS. Plus I'm thinking with all those track miles, the engine / transmission may be ready for a refresh $$$$ soon.

Ok, now the real question. What kind of lap times do you pull at
0) Sebring
1) Homestead
2) Road ATL
3) Barber

And on what tires?

This car or any other car like this is obviously not for you. You should just go by a new 2012 left over or garage queen for $135k.

What do people expect a 5 year old sports car with 2 miles on it? This car has avg 7,500 miles per year on it...that is way under the norm.

Ahh I'm just in a bad mood.... A car for the street, I wouldn't think twice about the mileage. Track+Milage=?? It may very well be fine for 100k I've been "considering" taking a more serious look into this car.... Would look good with my GT2 Seats!

Erik: What's the Sebring Laptime on this car?

Howdy Gents, new to the forum and new to porsche, am a bmw guy, but a GT3 has been on my bucket list for a long time... spoke with Eric, Rodger and Eddie today about this sweet car. Will be getting the PPI done at orbit and if all goes well, flying out from Seattle to drive it/see it and hand over a check... Considered driving it home, but 3400 miles is a long way in a race car!! Will ship it, any recommendations for a shipping company?
