Have you seen the black one for sale on the PCA National site ?
It's in Atlanta....black, steel/iron brakes, sport buckets
I believe it's owned by the guy who had a white/red '10RS and then allans' '11 white/black RS
No affiliation and I don't know the car or owner...just passing along

Peter, did you really sell your car already????
I heard a rumor last night. I'm not buying it. Peter and Randy were together. Naturally there was alcohol involved. The info they were sending about the buyer is highly suspect....

Yes, he's seen it. I suspect he doesn't really want a 4.0; just appeasing himself window-shopping until the 991 RS arrives....

If anyone is serious about getting a Scuderia I can point to the right cars in the right price range.

Internet prices are not the market. I have been updating purchase prices from actual owners for 2 years, but if you trust the internet better, so be it.

There is currently one available for $155k with 14,000 miles and no track time.

A very low miles (around 4000 miles) 2008 with the Carbon Package is a $185k car, these cars with 10,000 miles are as good as new, but they take a $20k hit on resale for the first 10,000 miles, and $1/mile there after.

I just test drove a MP4-12C, and I could not believe I would like the car this much. Build quality is unreal good. The car feels light. No idea on actual weight, but it must be really light. Power in the mid range is insane, I did not run it over 6500rpm but it has way more trust than my Scuderia. Fun fact: It uses the same CCB rotors as my Scuderia, and the same brake pads and calipers. The interior is like nothing else. Now I need to start my long research on them. The price is perfect too.

458 Corsa (the track day version) is due at the end of next year as a 2014 car, the car is going to be sitting on the $330k-$350k price range, that is close to CGT money and I would rather go CGT.

Back to Topic ==> Trakcar, have $235k on funds available if you want a 4.0RS today, or $255k if you want a PTS 4.0RS. The longer you wait, the more the prices will move up.

I made an offer but we're a couple of Kia's apart.
Don't love the red inside.

A 185K Fiat without warranty. Right.

I would give strong and quite serious consideration to a $235k offer on my 4.0 (back in stock trim). Or as it sits (MovIt brakes/Akropovic exhaust/Volk G12 wheels) $270k

It is a stripper too, only has A/C. Has a LiON 10lb battery. No radio, wart, bluetoof or all that other crap. It also has the "Nevada Whorehouse" red interior.

who needs warranty when the thing doesn't break.

You sound like the old Kia and Hyundai marketing gimmick: 10 years warranty and unlimited mileage. They make such crappy cars, and people bought them because of the great warranty, only to find out how crappy they are.

Warranty doesn't cover the cost of having to withdraw a track weekend early.

Fiat offers extended warranties, so is Fidelity. Try to get Fidelity warranty on a GT3, the answer is: no way.

Look on the bright side: a couple of Kia's here or there to a Porsche buyer is the same as a couple of Porsche's here or there to a Ferrari buyer....

Understand the red thing but most of that is easily changed and likely would need to be at some point given the amount of FL track time you log....unless of course you're going over to the darkside and plan to bubble-wrap.
