We should have a Platinum DE Cup and a Gold DE Cup at Sebring.

- Platinum DE Cup: street cars under 2:20
- Gold DE Cup: street cars under 2:25
- Cup of Coffee: street cars under 2:30
- Moving Chicane Cup: 85Gold, my Coxster, the pace car, the SuperSolo drivers that swear they are the pace car, the Aero Beetles that always break, 50% of the PCA Club Racers.
I rode with the farmer in boss, fantastic driver and car control

Give him an equal car, he is in top 10 percent

I understood him perfectly.

So I'm top 5 in the platinum DE cup and the clear overall track record setting winner in BAC.

I'm proud.

I have gotten to 30+ three times on R6 (on the 2010 GT3 - not the RS). Twice I got flat tires by running over stuff in the pits. Once was one of those big wood splinters they put all over Sebring for the 12 Hour. The other time was a random screw. But on my third set, I corded the tires at MoSport which probably had something to do with using them the weekend before at Road America (big straights) and then not flipping them on the rims (which was kinda hard to do on Mancation). So, yes, I can get 30+ and probably a bit more. The tires are still faster than RA1's even with that many heat cycles. Do they handle well at 30+ hc? Not so well when you notice the progression - but when you get in your RS on RA1's, well, the old R6 feel better.

Comment about the RA1's that I used this Spring and summer on the RS: I couldn't get to 20 hc's with the rears on any of the sets I used. They just plain wore out. But the fronts (NT01's) seem to last forever. Which is similar to the R6 as well. It was frustrating how quickly the rear RA1's wore out. Seemed like all of us (Izzone, Trakcar) were really going thru rears fast during Mancation.

I would say that it is a push or slight favor to the RA1 on cost considering the flipping required on the R6. But the old R6 is faster than the new RA1. My vote would be for R6 over RA1. Faster is funner.

Thanks for the feedback, and for sharing it your results. When I graduate to Gold De cup or something like that I plan running Hoosiers.

Now, can you please elaborate how often you flipped the tires, and how you managed tire pressure?

Flip the tires on the rims after each event. Rotate (left-right) the tires during the event.

Hot tire pressure target on pit road after session (no cool down slow lap) is 30.

Here is the Challenge for ya!

Show up to Winterfest with a brand new set of Hoosier R6 (0 heat cycles).

At Winterfest we will have 16 sessions (16 heat cycles). Then run the same tires (I will autograph each one of them) at the PCA 48 hours, another 12 heat cycles for a total of 28HC way less than your 30 or 40HC lifetime.

You don't need fasteder tires for Winterfest, because no matter whatcha do, you won't make podium on the DE Cup, too many faster drivers/cars coming.
