It be cool to rent the whole track and have all derivations of gt3's of fairly equal and fast drivers and that's including strippers of each derivation(there's 6 and 7.1 strippers for sure don't know bout 7.2 non RS/RS and definitely none for 4.0). Run stock suspensions with steelies on same pads on same tires. I think it'll be more fun to watch and gather data on laptimes and have a few beers after. There should be no racing involved as I be worried with cars not running full safety gear ie one car out then 10 seconds later another car out etc. mike

Rad, please don't complain about having no spoiler wings etc. I just checked the specs for both F430 Scuderia and .2 GT3 RS. Here's the numbers:

I was reading this post last night when I would stop during my long drive from Penscola back to Tampa and was thinking that the Ferrari F430 has lots of downforce ude to all the air channels going through the body and under the car including the rear difusser.

OK here is the gig, 2012 One Lap of America which is run what you brung and you would all be in the same class SSGT1BB. Has all the tests needed to evaluate car and driver. Multiple TT on various tracks, wet and dry skid pad, ET drag, Autox and 3/8 mild paved oval. 
The winner would then have some serious bragging rights and if enough Rennlisters show up I would get Brock to have a Rennlisters Trophy. 
Nick I need your help getting them off the fence to run this awesome event.

Are we comparing cars or drivers...or drivers in there choice of cars?
Personally I'd love to see a comparison of driver in car...Reter in his RS vs Rad in his F430!
No dyno comparo's....could careless, lets see what driver and car can do on the track.

FYI figured out my wheel/tag along trailer, now figuring out my hitch...
FYI my car is still full boat heavy, Bose sub is still in the back!

- Challenge should focus on drivers rather than cars, so I would like best laps in each car to count, each driver runs in both cars, to eliminate any car advantage over the other, I should say, to eliminate the 2 secs faster lap times the 3.8RS produces over the Fiat.
- 3.8RS is a $135k car , my Fiat is a $170k car, 4.0RS is a $200k, can't see how the Fiat is $100k more expensive. If price makes a car faster, why are you not running DE Cup with a Rolls-Royce Phantoms?
- Daytona is not fair, except the speedway, the turns are too slow, and at slow turns, cheater Aero Beetle wings offer very little help, so it would not be fair to the Aero Beetle boys.
- There are cheater parts (massive long list) in each Aero Beetle in the area.
- I'm ok with a dyno challenge, both cars on the dyno the same day, but my car will lose to any Aero Beetle, only puts 397whp down against Aero Beetles in the 460whp range, so kind of a pointless challenge.

I hope nobody is taking my posts serious. Im just messing around. I think most people here are just having fun - But it would be nice to see a fireball race a water wetter and it would be nice to have the water wetter in front of the fireari when it bursts into flames.
