J/K!!

Looking forward to waving you by at Tremblant!!

Clarke, we need to get an instructor beside you to slap that hand off the gear **** or hook up some sort of electric shock system for one second after shifts. ZAP!!!

Have fun in Quebec!

What a massive amount of moving chicanes, NNJR-PCA should have a Red group like other Porsche chapters, for National instructors and advanced drivers, it would be a lot safer than that moving chicane festival with speed disparities exceeding 50mph.

My underpowered Cayman loses just 10mph to the 3.8RS at Sebring, so how can those cars be running 40mph-50mph slower, while having more than 295Hp?
Rad, it was unbelievable how big of a speed difference it was in the red group. I know everyone doesn't have big hp but I've never seen trains like that in the highest run group

I don't think it is a matter of big HP, it is just plain missing driving skills and traffic management by a lot of Green/Yellow group drivers running in the Red group.

For instance, my 295Hp Cayman is a heavy car (3,250 lbs with driver), at Sebring, my top speeds are in between 132mph and 134mph prior to T17, or about 10mph slower than the 450+ Hp 3.8 GT3 RS, on the turns it doesn't lose much to the Aero Beetles.

In Clarke's videos, the speed differential is not 10mph, it is at least 40mph, that's not car's deficit, that's driver's deficit, poor traffic management, poor anticipation, missing qualifications for Advanced driver or worse an instructor.

Trains have zero business in an Advanced group, one needs to point-by early, use mirrors, get to know the cars around the track, share the track, there is no justification to have a car on your tail.

It was amazing driving and fun by Clarke, but painful and embarrassing to watch most of the others.

A bit of fun with the Mario Bros. Yeah, it's Rad's ex out there.

"Dancing" starts at about 2:00, but the drag race at 1:30.

Ok, here are some of the photos. I have some more to sort through and will need a bit more time on those.

love the 996's - they almost look quite classic now amongst all the newer machinery.

clarke - your driving skills are very good, you got huge momentum going on, but like others have noted, the one handed approach may be a little risky for the speeds you are travelling at. you look comfortable with it as you probably have been doing it since you started out, but.....you are travelling very fast and every little bit more control counts.

This thread delivers. I too am shocked with the lack of pace. The NNJR event at mid Ohio a couple months ago was the fastest group I've ever run with. People were jumping down from black to come play in red because the pace was soon high and everyone was running that pace. Barely had traffic issues the whole weekend.

I've been following this thread. Who is coming to Tremblant next week? I'm looking forward to meeting you all! Track is open for trailer drop off as of 5 PM Sunday and the gates are locked at 10 PM. Tech line opens at 7 AM. You will sign track waivers at the gate and PCA waivers at the pop-up in front of the tower marked "Inscription".

Any of you need a quick lesson on how to drive Le Circuit, let me know and I'll get you a check ride
to speed up the learning process.

Best,
