Sounds like fun! I run in white group (PCA) here. Should I sign up for white or drop down to yellow since I've never been to that track. I hear there is a waiting list for yellow though...already.

Good question. IMO sign up for white & maybe see if Maverick's chief instructor there (John Sandusky) can vouch for you by email withthe CDI of Lone Star. There will be several instructors there to teach you the track...

Grattan. Don't even bother with Putnam Park. In my preferred order-

Grattan
NJ
Monticello
Lime Rock
Summit Point
Putnam

Hope that helps...

Grattan is very near Grand Rapids. Little gem of a track. I tend to hate Alan Wilson designed tracks and prefer more classic tracks so take that under consideration.

Teo called me and told me he was in charge of identifying strip joints in Canada. He needs available entertainment in case of another money shift.

Crap 7 hours in the wrong direction. We do have 3 days to get there.
Is there anything on the way there for the 27th. and 28th.?

Gingerman is very close, but can't find a schedule. It is fun?

Gingerman is very fun, but it is a small club track.

GingerMan, gee I have about 3,000-4,000 laps there. It's okay, nothing to write home about, little club track designed by Alan Wilson. They changed the track a year ago, new back chute to back straight. I love Grattan way more. What about Michigan International Speedway or Waterford Hills? I have a kart race at MIS this year and it's supposedly repaved.

Calabogie

Calabogie Peak resort room or condo
Good restaurant, pool etc nice (mentionned you are at the track, they usually give discount)
www.calabogie.com

http://www.calabogielodge.com/
nice place never been there condo

And the chic Calabogie Motor inn
Cheap, Clean and simple ;o)
http://www.calabogiemotorinn.ca/

those 3 places are 10 min from the track.

Tremblant

Register with Rennsport website, you will see all the informations ( you will need your PCA #)
I usually reserve at Hermitage du lac in the Intrawest village, very cool. You can have 1 2 or 3 room condo
Usually Rennsport make a deal with Mon tremblant Intrawest to get very nice discount.
You need to give a group# to have the discount, last year was 40% so it is worth it. 2012 group# are not out yet
