Depends how fast you roll the corner and how much time is lost shifting the car

You need to concentrate on segment time, speed does not always mean the fastest way around

I think leh keen goes to 1st!?
I try not to look at cups because the are track geared right?

I look at segments times, even segment times combined t7,8,9 entry to 10. In this case. It must be cold, grippy and crUnching for me tO get faster in 2nd. At t7..

Keen goes down to 1st in a 996 RS or RSR (I forget which it is).

So true and there is a little more, current segment time + next segment time.

An example, I focused on trying to go flat-out through Bishop bend, with the end result being the FIAT stopping on the right side entering 15, and no chances to get it to the left of T15 entrance (unless I want to spin out of control).

Best segment through Bishop resulted on a slow T15-T16 segment, with T16 being a very important exit.

So, now I need to work on not braking to enter bishop, and position my FIAT on the left of entrance to T15.

Meh, not sure you need to get fully left for 15. It's pretty easy to turn in from mid track w/o any sacrifice of segment time, since that is where most cars want to go exiting Bishop's if they are really hooked up. It's when folks purposely try to get the car all the way left that they either (a) increase their chances of spinning under braking or (b) sacrifice speed in Bishop's.

Whew, finally read the whole thread and watched all the vids. Feel that I'm ready as I'll ever be to hit Sebring for the first time... some time next year?

Not sure if Izzone put this video up (there are so many here, tough to keep track). But I really like his approach to T1, 13, 15, 16. He gives up a bunch of time in 7, 17 and Bishops IMHO, but still...

Well, to be fair, "last year" was only like 6 months ago.

Allright, allright. Next year it is. Mosport and Tremblant and the other one is still high on our list for the summer, but so is california...To be continued..

Not sure if Izzone put this video up (there are so many here, tough to keep track). But I really like his approach to T1, 13, 15, 16. He gives up a bunch of time in 7, 17 and Bishops IMHO, but still...
I have the data to go with the video.
Though because so much traffic..

I like Randy's line better through 15 and 16 then mine. I think that is what I will work on next week.
Much shorter, more balanced. I'm surprised his sector time is not fater there, but there was always traffic....

T7 can be made much shorter with same minimum speed.
This is what segment time says anyway.

T13 works, but throwing it in with lots of traile brake on an arch coming from T12, never straightening out on the way in, but catching the bump near apex feels faster to me but very hard to get right. T13 is slow in OR slow out, you can't ever get it perfect, but that is my middle of the road solution.

I'm working on t7 trying to match Chris hall /Gavin lines . Somewhere in the middle of Peter and I is perfect

I used to take bishops flat, but it's hard to get the car stopped for 15 and is slower

The difference between Peter Andy I is mostly braking. I spend a few more seconds than he does braking. Once I fix this I should be parked on his bumper

What's wrong with Izzones T7? Trying to learn so etching here myself. Only thing I notice is a lot of times his exit puts him way out into the dirt to his left...so maybe slightly to early of a turn in?...thanks.

I dont brake hard enough and am late to gas

Line is per Chris hall, I've overplayed with him to compare
