Sharkwerks v. GMG by-pass exhaust

Sharkwerks v. GMG by-pass exhaust
getting bored with the stock exhaust noise as it sounds too intakey v. enginey if that makes any sense.
done the search and checked out the vids, but couldn't come up with any side by side comparisons.
i did glean from notes that the GMG sounds more ferrari-ish (higher pitched) whereas the SW unit is truer to the flat6.
i like how involved SW is in this forum. aside from the wheel issues that have come up as of late, GMG sounds like a fine vendor w/ motorsport experience.
-build quality wise (fitment, materials used, durability), are both at about the same levels?
-subjectively, which would you choose for your gt3?
Thanks in advance.

I had a SW one that I bought used off of RL or 6sp before I went full custom headers and exhaust etc...
it was sublime -- easy sale to a local guy as well.
I am sure the gmg one is good but I have no experience with it.
Also RSS makes one that includes tips which some people like.
but I also read in another thread that SW stuff comes with free tips now -- not sure if that applies to the SWBP but I would assume it does given the new pricing of the bypass.

yea i did read about SW including the bigger, coated tips as part of the cost. very cool.
i know i'll very likely have to make a call here without hearing the two side by side. just wanted to see if there were any insights in the build quality or design dept. thx.

SW has been quite durable. I have had it on two RS porsches to date with a combined mileage of 20k.
The SW tips are what make me happy every time i see my RS in a crowd of stock tipped GT3s during track day.....
SW also sent me extra clips for free when i needed them. (i forgot that NJ-GT put them in the passenger door pocket when i bought the car.....)
I remove my SW twice a year and it never shows any worse the wear when i put it back on.
Did you know they come with a serial number?! How cool is that!

Ive got the track exhaust on my car - sounds sublime - warn neighbors before install.
Wanting those big 89mm tips from Sharkwerks to add to it.

Buddy of mine here in Phoenix has the SW piece on his car and it sounds awesome! More than that, dealing with a vendor like SW and , in particular, fantastic attitude and service from Alex, makes SW easy best choice. I will be ordering mine soon.

I've heard the Sharkwerks and it just sounds awesome plus dealing with Sharkwerks is a huge plus.

the best thing to do is to delete the side mufflers, use 'cup' pipes to the rear muffler, this adds power and reduces weight by approx 40lbs. then you have the true race sound from a cup car! and its cheaper the the SW & GMG
