Default Anyone using exe-tc shocks

Anyone here using or used exe-tc shocks? UK-based company. They supposedly developed a GT3 upgrade with Chris Harris' input. He raved about what it did for the GT3 but comments I found were dated. Would be interested in hearing user feedback.

Contact Gavin at Autoquest in Ft Meyers, FL

Gavin was who Chris did the test with. Gavin also has them on his 997.1 GT3

You are likely already aware Harris's GT3 before the 4.0 had Intrax? (or so I understand)

No he had Exe-tc as they run on the Cup car he drives in 'ring VLN series.

I am going to be speaking to them tomorrow about this upgrade.

I was at Sebring with Gavin this weekend

We talked about shocks and this set-up in general. He is a wealth of knowledge on the GT3 platform

Hi Guys,

You are correct, Chris Harris was running Exe-tc Suspension on his Gray gen 1 GT3. He never had Intrax Suspension on that car. They also used Exe-tc Suspension on the VLN car that he drives. A little history for those of you that know nothing about this company. It is a UK based company, www.exe-tc.co.uk , they have provided the suspension for Sebastien Loeb's Citreon that has won the World Rally Championship for the last 8 years. They have been developing a suspension system for Porsche's for the last 3 years for both racing and rallying. A GT3 Cup Car equipped with Exe-tc Suspension won the round of the Spanish Rallying Championship last weekend competing against full on 4 wheel drive Rally Cars. The suspension has allowed the Porsche's to become much more competative with the 4 wheel drive cars. We have been using the suspension on our gen 1 GT3 RS for the last 3 years both in Rallying and on the track with extremely good results. Exe-tc has taken a different approach suspension wise using very soft progressive springs and very powerful dampeners. This makes the car much easier to drive quickly and instills more driver confidence. The photo above is of the winning Cup Car competing in the Rally last weekend, you seldom see Porsches doing this, especially in the US!
