Hi Guys,
Exe-tc Suspension does use remote reservoirs, but they are attached to the shock. They can be mounted in different positions to allow for clearance in various model applications.
The ride height question is more difficult to answer. Generally we measure from the center of the wheel to the fender lip. This allows for consistant measurement when using different size wheels and tires. As you know, on Cup Cars, they measure from specific points on the bottom of the car to the ground. When doing the initial suspension set up, getting the correct amount of rake into the car is critical to achieving balance and driveability and of course the drivers preference towards understeer or oversteer. For initial setup, Exe-tc raises ride height by 10mm for rallying from stock and lowers it 10mm for circuit use from stock. We then fine tune from there. For rallying purposes they are able to run a much lower ride height even on a Cup Car becuase the dampeners prevent bottoming out over bumps and jumps. Below is a photo of the car landing.

Sergio Vallejo would have to be the Patrick Long of rally... If his team is using exe-tc, it speaks volumes... just jump on youtube to see what this guy can do with a GT3... awe inspiring stuff! Photos above are trademark Vallejo, thanx GT3-girl!

Sergio Vallejo is good.... but after seeing Chris Harris, he is my new hero!
i would have bought these shocks if i had known about them 3 months ago!! I now have a custom pair im testing...... i sure hope they perform like EXE TC!

C Harris used Exe-tc suspension on the 'kermit' project car built by Tuthill. The final article published in GT Porsche in 2008 was glowing. 'Rides like a Citroen DS and handles anything you thow at it'

Very interesting; I like the idea of a GT3 that is higher & softer for real world and road rally use, but still handles well, and this is the first serious product I've seen that might deliver that.
