r you saying that OZ is not hubcentric?
i wouldn't run a non hubcentric wheel on track. i did before, with several brands and usually on low hp cars < 200hp, i have destroyed EVERYONE of them. then ONLY wheel i have not yet bent is CCW C14 and C10. but i do drive everywhere. anywhere there's no walls, it's part of the track imo. curbs, dirt, ditch, whatever it takes to pass you.

3. i prefer wider front b/c all gt3's push. on a narrow body 996 gt3, i run 9.5" with 12" rear (and i actually like my car to push a LOT more than most ppl.) so for me a 8.5" front simply will not turn. i can barely get the car turn in fast enough with 9.5"
My stock rim is 8.5 on the front and 12 on the rear: http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...lDetail&id=171

I do see your point though.

The OZ's are hubcentric. I ran them on the track in my supercharged 996. It's a solid wheel. My nickname is "Sir Spinalot" and I also have done some lawn maintenance at the track. I had a spin (blew the tire) that resulted in a 180 over the race curbing and into the dirt. Tore the tire off the rim. Other than a few scuffs, the OZ was straight. No bends, nothing. It's one hell of a wheel. Light too. I think the fronts are less than 20 if I remember right and 21 for the rear (in 11").

if you ever have a free day take a trip to the CCW shop in Daytona.

It is real nice......interesting on all teh business they do

Talked to John a day ago.....he has a vblack set of 997.1 GT3 rims built and ready (I think $2,900).

I am thinking about buying another set as a spare set so I can run tires to the cord and change at the track

as long as it's hub centric, i think it's a fine wheel for track use. get a few sets and go at it.
