Just go with Woodman. Great service and they'll match any price you find on the net. They've got my business.
good to know about the price match. I've been buying from tiresdirect as they've had the best R888 and RA1 prices but they are out of the R888's I need.

i got myself set of 315s from ebay for $350 shipped. should arrive today.
see link several posts above, they still have some left.
Thanks Paul, I missed that post....2 R888 315's for $300....are they for real? What's the catch?
not sure what it is but i just received mine. John from CCW gave me that seller and said that he dealt with them before with no issues. dot date seems like 2707.
I inspected tires - they look legit, no refurbs, no cuts, so, so far so good. i wish they had 255 tires - I would get an another set as well. but I have 2 compete new sets now and it is probably enough anyway. Plus hopefully someboy will take my 335 RA1, it is amazing nobody wants them, may be I should start selling them at full price $405 per tire.
So guys, if i understand it correctly, my .2 gt3 will take the 335/30/18's and 255/35/18's in the toyo r888's or ra1's. Right or ...?
use 255/315. for 335 rears you would want 275 fronts and that will require 10" wide front rims for 275 tires to fit well, 10" front rims will need rolled fenders.
i ran last season on 265/335 kumho V700 tires - I got 2 sets (8 tires) for less than $1K so for that price who would care... but still, 335 rear pushes quite a bit. 335 on a 12" rim fits fine, 265 on 9" rim wanted upper mounts to be rotated a bit to move shocks heads inward to make more space in the wheel well. but still. I went to my mechanic to test fit 10" wide wheel with 275 rubber and it did not fit, apparently even with 265 there is a like about of half inch worth of space there.
so on regular 9" widest tires you can fit are 265 (v700 kumhos, R6, etc.). 255mm R888 tire does fit perfectly.
ps. racing folks seem to like 240mm/280mm slicks for gt3 cars but I did not look how 255/315 r888 translates into what exact width.
