I was the previous owner of the midnight blue GT2. Is it up to the 3rd or 4th clutch in its 19k miles now? DME tells the story.

I was also a suitor for the blue GT2 at one time. Being modified isn't the issue for me.
I would have preferred it to remain modified and come with the original parts. I bought one such Guards Red example here on RL and it's been a dream the last 2 yrs I've owned it. Great mods and original parts included.

Gone off their website. No idea if it was sold or if dealer principal decided to hold onto it.

I suspect many of you already noticed, but the midnight blue 997.1 GT2 did not reach reserve on PCAR with a high bid of $212,000. It's now in their Deal Tank with an asking price of $299,000.

Lots of interest with 1,311 watchers but only 35 bids for the BaT car. Sold for $225 ($230 w/ Buyer’s Premium). We are back to pre-covid values:

And it is confirmed that our beloved 997.1 GT2s remain the Rodney Dangerfield of the modern GT car line-up. No respect!

Its not too different from the S&P over the same period:
Just from a casual chart comparison, it actually looks like GT2s started lower than the S&P. GT2s lagging the S&P by a bit. The 2 charts seem to be going different directions now. Hard to imagine that gap spreading further but who knows. I think the BaT buyer got an exceptionally good deal. Congrats and check in here if you are reading this!

Sold for $225k + premium. Is it just me or do the PCCB rotors look completely worn on this car? I'm certainly not a PCCB rotor expert, but they do look like it to me.

They certainly do appear to be worn, but edges look good from what I can tell with no 'crumbling'. They look similar to the PCCB rotors on my own 997.2 GT3 RS with 69k miles (mine are also original rotors).

yea there are 3 wear indicators per disk and I think I see 2 on one which would be it’s in the last 1/3 of life. I don’t think ive seen any 997 PCCB over 30k miles and thought they looked great. This generation of carbon tends to burn, but it’s the pitting and crumble Steve mentioned you kinda gotta look for

Gran Prix Motors have two 08 GT2s ying-yang combos, both under 1k mile, not sure how that's even possible.

Absolutely insane! The 'hockey stick' in value for a 3 digit mileage car should be extraordinary too, I'd love to hear those asking prices. I'm guessing they start with a 4.

maybe they'll do a discount where you walk out with two under $1mm?

Maybe the supply will support selling both at the same time, but I'd think you'd want stagger the listing by about half a year. I bet they were both sourced from the same seller/location. That's a $850 carbon fiber encased phone btw:
In 2008, on the eve of smartphnes, Porsche was still selling phone modules?
