trying to figure out if that was the hammer price or the "all in" price. The buyer's premium was quite substantial:
"In the event of a final Hammer Price above $250,000.00 USD on all motor car Lot(s), RMS will receive a Buyer’s Premium of 12% on the first $250,000.00 USD and will receive a Buyer’s Premium of 10% on the Hammer Price above $250,000.00 USD."
Hammer price was $375k. $417,500 is with the buyers premium.

Sub 3k miles! And the 04 996 gt2 from the same collection (with 3700 miles) went for $360k (400k with fees/premium)!

That GT2 was a very rare “996.2” GT2 with even more power than the original car (an extra 20 horsepower). Also had different wheels and the suspension was tweaked. From the numbers I’ve seen only 324 were made in total with very few in white. Only 10 made for the North American market (includes “996.1” and “996.2” with majority likely being first gen cars) were white.

I would want further details including photos of any past damage.

but, engine out not necessarily a bad thing. Most likely a good thing assuming it was an elective procedure to fix the water lines. Here is mine done at SW under previous ownership:

Looks like this dealer bought that car for inventory. That and a 964 Turbo S Flachtbau at the auction. Crazy to seem they paid record prices for those cars to flip. Plus the dealer has less than a stellar reputation as the person who runs it isn’t the easiest to deal with and I’ve heard he’s done some pretty shady stuff.

Looks like the white car consigned at Overton is sold (as no longer listed among their inventory). It was for sale longer than I expected. Hope a rennlister was able to snag it. Seemed like a really good deal for a car in a desirable color with buckets and reasonable mileage. That's the car I would have targeted if I were in the market.

This (the week between Christmas and NY) is historically a terrible time to try to sell a car.

Much better off waiting until Spring.
