Here are some more photos from the Ring of me. All these photos are from Jochen of Frozenspeed. As you can see he is an awesome photographer and I find his pictures ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! You might find him at Pistneklause restaurant at AM Tiergarten in the evening, or contact him directly at...

http://www.frozenspeed.com/

These two show Sabine Schmitz in the car with me. The second has Rish from Ingerrrrrrrrrrrland in the background.

So you now have page 16, 17 and 18 of recently posted photos. I will get the rest posted tomorrow, and will add my "To Do" list for those going over to Germany. The one thing that will take me some time is to edit the video of me doing the 201 mph. I hope to get this on youtube so you can see how that all went. All you see is the dashboard, but pretty cool to see anyway.

Great photos TDM. If I were you I'd get some posters made for your garage.

Awesome pics! My wife and I went in May and did a similar tour you did, including the Nueburgring.
Did you do the Factory tour as well?

Great idea! I was already thinking of how beautiful the inside of my track trailer will look!

I also did the facotry tour. That was really cool. What a thril to see the assembly line with 911s flowing through the air getting all their parts put on. The coolest part was seeing the "marraige" of chassis and powertrain. I would do the tour again in a heartbeat as I am sure each tour guide tells you a slightly different story. I am assuming you did also, and if you did perhaps you may have noticed the guys drinking beer on their hourly 5 minute break!

Hmmm, the speed I am not sure about. I bet there will be someone else who sees this that will chime in on speed through it. I wish now I brought my traqMate for this kinda stuff, but was worried about their rules of not timing and stuff.

As far as bumpy through it, kinda. I do know that towards the end I was scrapping the front splitter somewhat. This seemed to be at higher speeds only. I was surprised that entering the Karousell did not scrape the front. The karousell was quite long, but since you do go through it at a decent speed it goes by quickly.

The one thing I really did miss was a track walk of the Nordschleife. It would have been so cool to take a drive around like we had at Spa and get out at certain areas to see the track close up!

Yes we did lol. To assemble all the different models on one line is amazing. The logistic for such an operation has to work 100%. The leather department was amazing too...they gave us some left overs /cut outs to keep. Its now on my key chain :-)

Fantastic thread. You did what I dream of doing someday.

Absolutely unbelievable.

Enjoy your car.

Perhaps we'll cross paths in the future at Calaboge, LCMT, The Glen or Mosport.

This is a picture of a Shell gas pump showing the 100 racing fuel. This grade was really not that much more expensive than the other grades. On my way to return the GT3 to Stuttgart I filled up with this fuel. I figured it was the least I could do for the car for its long journey to the States.
