Default What's my RS worth?? not selling; just curious..

since I have not had the time to drive it much( 1800 miles) as my base GT3 is my DD (23,550 miles).

Orange, xenons, PCCB's, A/C delete, full clubsport package minus the plastic rear window...full 3m bra; track alignment...sadly; never tracked...just driven respectfully during break-in

so what do you guys think the depreciation factor is on such a fine example of RS pureness...(halogens can/should have been placed but I can't see at night)

again...not a fishing trip...promised my son I won't sell it. period.

MSRP for well informed buyers.
5-10k over for not so well informed buyers.
30k over for those who have a lot of money and want something quick.

Leif it always good to know where you stand and I dont care what anybody says, its an investment, given it costs as much as it does. It maybe a depreciating asset but its still and asset. Even for those Americans getting ready to get their taxes cut by the Messiah its still an asset thats worth over half of the Years income. Its smart for you to get an idea of the cars worth

Well, I was going to refrain from posting something negative, but in that case I think the A/C delete would hurt you on resale. There was a green RS with only PCCBs and the A/C delete that lingered on ebaymotors at a significantly lower price than other, A/C equipped RSs.

You see... this car is what will separate the purists from the wannabes....this was meant to be a track car and as quoted in the racing bible; "there shalt not be said A/C in thy pure track car"......so be it.....its also a hefty 44 pounds lighter as a result

Exactly. And that's why the posers who pay 30 over might shy away from her. But srew 'em! I actually remember some guy on 6speed who bought an RS and then posted--after he had already bought it--how disappointed he was in the stereo quality.

Been there done that!! Trust me, it's not going to be pretty. It may start off amicable, however things change drastically as time moves on. I'll help you out: I'll give you $30K for the car and when all is said and done I will sell it back for $25,000!! (my divorce took 2 years and 4 months to settle)

No comment on resale value, but good for you for buying it with AC delete!
