Allegretto, thank you for your kind and (on my end) true words. That one of you gets it is enough.I'm not a bad guy, I'm not looking for more than my share of the pie, as are most of us.I can appreciate that some of you don't understand or even agree with my sense of humor and thats fine. I don't really care what you think of me in this forum, now that one of you gets it way. laughs.

we had a couple inches of ugly winter crap this morning, turned to nasty rain, which is melting all of the snow, which is flooding everything. lots of fun.

John, since i already spent the commissions from your deals, I'll have to add drama to the next one. Thanks for giving me that as an option.

It shouldnt be hard to sell a coblat blue GT3 should it. I think there was only one 996 GT3 in that color
and when it resold several guys were after it.

Now that the flames have subsided, tell me why a Porsche dealer with arguably one of the hottest cars on the market will take a $25K deposit (or any deposit) from someone who has no credit? Why spec it and produce it if you have no confidence in the outcome. Seems unfair to lead the buyer on in that way. My experience was the dealer had a credit report in hand 5 minutes after the negotiation started.

Why? What do you mean by your post? Do you not think this guy is wrong? Or do you think I am a dumb ***? I do not support this idea.

It may seem unfair, but if you give a check for 25K six months before the car is released and there are no programs, would you want me to run your credit?Should I?On this matter, we are talking about the exception with what happened, not the rule.

I'll bet you will, like a good dribble. You've probably been to pole position's "school of hard knocks" and learned all about successful condom sales. That's really what good salesmanship is all about, just ask allegretto.

On second thought - if I wanted drama, I'd have bought our Porsches elsewhere (no reflection on this thread, of course...).. Actually - I simply appreciate the professional way you worked with Jen & I on our sales.. Keep that up - and you may give *any* salesperson at *any* dealership a hurdle they just can't jump...

My best to you Alfie! And my thanks again!!

(BTW: - Should I tell you how my C4 ran this winter with all this snow??? And Jen's C4 ran???

They both are running AWESOME!!! )

yea, all this snow. HA!.... I suppose there are a lot of ways to sell cars, some work for some people, some don't. This whole transaction could have gone a lot differently, as well this discussion, but i'm not perfect, so I wont throw stones.

You really are warm and fuzzy aren't you fluffy? Well, I bet you were quite a ballplayer, at least in your day.
