Very interesting, big dollars gamble, hoping this all works out for you and this beautiful 2007 GT3 RS.

Ironically, if the former owner did the same thing as you did instead of totaling it, he could still have the car running after spending a few hundred bucks and the car would have a clean title and no one would be the wiser.
I had the same thoughts about how the prior owner handled this 'fresh water' damage to the car. It doesn't appear a proper evaluation was conducted...

Yup, the 991 looks huge next to the 997. The new cars are getting to big for my taste.

The 997 just looks so much better. The 991 & 992 are just to Try Hard for me.

I get a lot of ppl that look at mine all shined up and say the 997 was a piece of automotive art vs most supecars

Drola,

I was genuinely thrilled for you when I watched the video of you driving around with no CEL indicators and the sweet sound of the Mezger.

The fact that it cost you $400 bucks and your time is just icing on the cake.

Congratulations and drive it like you stole it (because you really did)

Thank you !!
yes, the plan is to drive it. I already put 450+ miles on the car since getting it back together and not a single issue so far
