Rennline mesh radiator protection. Fun opportunity to go OCD wild and clean and ceramic coat everything behind the bumper.

thats awesome ^^ ... I did a similar thing by ceramic coating my seat backs & the console ...

Winter time projects .... my garage time

not sure if you are asking if my console (& painted seat backs) are OEM. so I will offer that my car has all original OEM parts that are on the build sheet. Aqua came on both from factory. Hope that helps.

ouch,.. hmmm, I'll delete my pic then. LAST thing I want on the history of my car is a hint that my console has been rattle canned or Bumper plugged!!!

funny you say that as an experiment I’m having one of my data scientists build an LLM on Rennlist, but they are also adding in all the shop manuals…this is the hard part.

It wouldn’t be crazy to think it might hallucinate things like that.

That's not an EV charger. It's a breaker box with a Nema, and 110 dual outlet.

What's the deal with all the newbs posting irrelevant information? You other three posts are also of no value. Ban Him!

About 5 or 6 years ago I made a post that I thought my IMS bearing went out on my 08 C2S. I was researching what to do with the car and was pretty active on Rennlist at that time. The noise turned out to be the waterpump going out (never more happy to spend $1,600 on a waterpump).. Got it repaired and good to go. I stayed away from Rennlist for a while as the IMS seemed to be the only topic on the 997 forum and the bore scoring was starting to heat up. 3 years later I go to sell that car to get my current GT3. Someone asked about the IMS since I never went back and updated my thread (which I have since done).

That along with following the 997 GT3 for sale thread opened my eyes to how permanent these posts are. This has made me very cautious as to what I post and what questions I asked. Fortunately I have a hotline to bxstr who knows pretty much everything!!

I need to do that once I get my car back. Dropped a dress shoe on the roof when I was moving some stuff around off my overhead garage rack. That damn thing went down wood heel first. One of those slow motion things you see it happening live, and thinking ‘noooooooooooo’, and you can do absolutely nothing about. Maybe I’ll get a carbon fiber roof…..
