Cool. How is that discount applied when shopping online?
During the checkout, you have to enter the one of the combinations below to apply the discount. Mine was applied immediately while still in the cart at checkout. That little ditty instantly covered the cost of car club memberships.
back in 2019 when I was comparing & choosing, I ended up spending $2,200 (verses ~ $1,500 for the 7000TL) & went with a 2-post MaxJax lift (I have a low 9' ceiling). Ran the hydraulic lines up to ceiling, across & down the wall to the pump/reservoir.
... way better setup with full unencumbered access underneath all my cars ... but of course the Pandemic / Supply Chain screwed that price comparison up, cuz now that MaxJax is like over $3k. geez.

I considered going removable posts and fixed posts, but knew Pandora's would be opened and I'd go full mental with fixed posts, compressed airlines w/tank, side mount garage door opener and vertical garage door tracks. And that would be just the start...
Drove my friends Ferrari 488 the other day. Got on it hard on an empty smooth road, went through some tunnels, did everything but twisty bits. Yes, it pulls hard and looks good (inside in particular is great) but it just wasn't as exciting and it didn't have as much character as the 997. Definitely faster, but not exciting while doing it. Going through the gears yourself and hearing the wail of the 6 - even though its slower - is more exciting to me.
So, now I know and I don't have to get a V8 turbo Ferrari. A V12 on the other hand....

my dad has a '16 488. its very nice, sounds good and very fast. but boring as hell to drive. ill take my .2 gt3 over it any day of the week, and its half the cost. to each their own
These were GT2 mirrors from the dealer, I think the previous owners receipt is from 2014. DBcarbon makes them also… I found a small hairline crack in one so I was looking the other day. Both the mirrors and Carbon wing have gloss PPF.
Trying out clear taillights. I always struggle with the clear 997.2 taillights.
sometimes I like sometimes I dont. So I'll try for a bit see what I think.

I'm a symmetry guy,... so I prefer the reds because they seem more balanced to my eye. The color itself (whether red or clear) does not make a difference to me,.... it is the balanced symmetry with red on both the top & bottom of the lens that makes it more pleasing to me.
