The .1 had a LWFW and aftermarket suspension anyways so it really wouldn't have been much of a difference between that and the .1 RS with a suspension setup from a driving experience, would have been neat to see all three together though.
Found it interesting on the order guide on the 997.2 the rod antenna was still available. Was not located on the roof anymore as that’s where the XM antenna is. Instead they moved it onto the front right fender. Thankfully no one ordered it on the 997.2 GT3/RS at least in the North American market.
Amazing, I can now put this up against my Monroney and see if the car is fully original. My center console sides, that flank the PCM, are not deviated. Either they were changed or the person who was configuring left it out.

I have to say I have never seen one of those before, only the roof mount on .1

I believe that is option code 24904 which is deviated stitching side center console. You had to select the deviated stitching option individually and some people didn’t select all of them.

I have only ever seen it once on a 997.2 Carrera. It was a free option that couldn’t be ordered in combination with the XM radio.

It was a special paint for the 997.2 RS. Carrara White and Aqua Blue were the standard no cost paints while Grey Black was a $3,140 option.
Saw this video about the 10 graphics packages on cars. The .2 RS is on the list. The “GT3 RS” script on the front right and rear left fenders remind me of the graphics on these two air-cooled cars. 3.2 Carrera Club Sport and 930 Turbo.

3.8 RS graphics are definitely a throwback to these 2 above!
From this months issue of Total 911. Article about Alex Ross’s latest project to make it into a sharkified 997.2 GT3 Touring.
Cool project.
I have that Ducktail, I might install it this summer to mix it up, it is pretty Beautiful, actually thought about leaving it primed and hanging it on the wall as art.
