Its going to look awesome though.
I totally agree, looks top notch & the fact you did it yourself, kudos!!

Ok.. picked the final product up today. Its 99% now and looks OEM. Couple of small blemishes that only the OCD and I will notice.

Bad pics put I wanted to get something up. When the weather is nice and I can wash, I will post up some final pics.

Not sure on the drag... can't be of any significance considering the size.

I'm still on the fence, but probably disabling the wing activation. Not because of drag, because I don't think I like the look in the up position.

Hoping to get some outside pics this weekend. Damn weather is back in the 30s so we will see.

If anyone knows how or someone that can help me make a mold, I'm down. I'm not doing it by hand again. Way too much effort to make it cost effective.

Are you going to disable the hydraulic wing from deploying now that you have the tail on?

Most likey.. it works with it on though. I drove for a month primered that way to test it out.

You can see it in the pics somewhere in this thread. Not sure I like the look with it deployed.

Does look 'different' with the wing deployed and wonder what kind of resistance the lip would add to the overall air flow. Looks awesome though, good on you to experiment.

Disabled the rear wing by unplugging the power to the motor. All capped off for safety and reassembled.

Proper pics coming in a few hours. Headed out to freeze myself and wash her.

Will you get a warning for the wing not functioning?
