Looks fantastic! Definitely motivation to make one too!

I've begun my CL and junkyard search...

love this ****!. looks great. reminiscent of the singer 964 grate. i don't think aero considerations remotely matter here. when i installed my misha duck (rather, had my misha duck installed), they said i'd feel a lighter front end at 70+. i really can't tell the difference. the aesthetics are terrific!

disagree. break the mold so only you can ever have it. sharing/selling is over-rated imo. (meant with all due respect to mickfluff - just my pov)

For all the reasons posted above by commenters, very nice work on an attractive, reasonably sized wing. Well done.

looking fwd to seeing nice shots of the finished product painted out

u may consider putting a nice lower front end lip on your car too to balance at higher speeds

dunno if you drive the car fast or on track... it would matter then

Had time this weekend to put the final coat on and prime it. Its not perfect but 95%. I'm sure the body shop can get it even closer. The lip edge is what seems to be impossible to get perfect. I had a few people look at it and they could not find any flaws. Might just be because I built it I know what to look for.

Anyway... its been raining but today it dried up. Was able to go for a test run. On my "test track" it felt good at 150. The best part is you can now tell when the wing is activated. You can see it in the rear view.

I am probably done until spring when I take it in for painting...

You already have a beautiful car and that wing made it even better. Great work!

Really nice work, I think it will look great once painted. Since it's relatively small, I don't think you even need a front lip. Well done!!

your added photos pose a very interesting look... from some angles it looks awesome, from some others it looks a little out of scale... maybe when the paint is matched it will look different again and seem more at home on the car.

just as a reference point, here is the more standard ducktail on my Carrera S
