I like reiterations of process. Take what I did and make it cheaper, better, faster.

You need to do this for under 150 and less than 40hrs effort....

That would be the goal... Hope it comes out looking as good as yours!

I'm just doing this for fun/to experiment making something like this so I don't think I'll be actively trying to sell anything. But, there will be a mold now to make more if people are interested I guess.

Cheers!

A similar copy is available for 1200-1600. Not affiliated though.

Flying ducktail

I chose this Ducktail because it is smaller and more subtle than most. The taiwanese supplier no longer sells them but I note that there is a proposed group buy on Rennlist with the designer. If of interest do a search here

I can confirm that you can disable the lift using the Foxwell NT 510/520/530 diagnostic/ coding tool. Much more cost effective than other options.

Moshammer, or Better Bodies has full ducktails that drop into the OEM spoiler but aren't mini....

But.... Better Bodies just came out with a super inexpensive one that is applied to the spoiler which, miiiighhtttt just look ok if it's installed properly. Their pictures look like they just test fit it with clear tape:

I like the very last one. Good job and congratulations on your originality!

@Bomba Yes I’ve actually been looking at better bodies (aka the infamous gt3tek?) rear “wing” options for months now. I like the mini duck lip on the cola de pato which you posted, however I’m not a fan of how it doesn’t extend up the side like the gt3tek rear wing option. This looks like they designed it half way and called it a day. It would of been nice if they combined the gt3tek rear wing which goes up the sides with the pato de cola which has a larger duck lip. I’m leaning towards the smaller one since it flows better and doesn’t look cut off.

Quite honestly, it's cheap enough that it's almost worth just giving it a go. You can probably, test fit it raw, see if you like it then paint it, once you see it in the flesh.

That is true. I requested for more pictures from the company. As far as Moshammer, the fit and finish looks pretty good. I’ve seen it in person at a 911 event last summer. I just hated the moshammer logo on it.
